Friendly or not, pre-season or not, we have been shocking this half, and weren't exactly playing like Champions League winners in the first half either.  A lot of work to do in the next 2 days if we are to win the opener.  Villarreal far fitter at this point.

You can really see why we've dropped a £100m on a striker. A target man is so needed we keep looking to either run at the defence or play it through the lines and neither is working. Maybe Abraham can be the answer?

Probably because he’s not a RWB. He had a very good pre season when he was playing LW but can’t get a look in, even Pulisic who has been very poor for as long as I can remember since his comeback at the start of last season (I think) gets time there over him.

Very harsh he had another purple patch last season culminating in his performance in the UCL semi finals he decimated the Madrid defence
