Oh look Weghorst has just scored for relegation threatened Burnley who have won once all season.

Yet we're suppose to believe it's the fault of UCL winning footballers that Lukaku is lazy and can't control a football.

f**k off.

And Weghorst played a big part in the second goal as well.  Lukaku would have given up on that ball in that situation

Nobody should be expecting him to be pressing non stop, I’ve never understood the expectation there.

Because if you want a work rate exemption you actually have to deliver enough to justify it.

The only player of ours on that type of level in the last decade has been Hazard, Lukaku isn't fit to clean his boots.

Lukaku's getting no service.

He's clearly waiting for another order of burgers but the service has been non-existant today. Outrageous.

Viera has eaten the burgers.

What impressed me was his assist against Man Utd. Made Maguire and McTominay look like absolute clowns.

Going all the way back to mendy from that corner is inexcusable. Benteke has had more touches than Lukaku and he’s on Palace’s bench

That really pissed me off, and we do it all of the time. I don't see any other team do this, and I don't understand why we do it. We seem more concerned about conceding possession than registering a shot on goal or a chance created.

Lukaku has become a complete scapegoat for everything. Where is the evidence that he’s lazy and has no work ethic? This narrative is solely due to bias from the interview.

Watch him when were trying to press, he walks about like he's playing bowls half the time.

Lukaku scores and you all still shred him to bits for the performance.

I'm not reactive enough to let one goal change things.

If he starts delivering against City, Liverpool and regularly in the UCL knockout phases/during title races then we'll talk.

Kante is bad today. Leftside attack cross= 0.

Lukaku is making his run but nobody is smart enought to see it. Haverts can’t give decent pass to Lukaku. Ether we play to adept to Lukaku or without him but with setup their is zero creativity. Sarr, kante, jorginho pulisic…

Last 5 games we had over 3 goals per game against CP, it's one of the teams that we are overwhelmingly beating in head-to-head. Put in Lukaku and suddenly it's an even game.

He's literally not making any runs, he's only hinting at them and making it look that way. Look at the pass Sarr tried to give him, he's hinting like he's open to receive the ball while going towards the near post of Sarr, Sarr passes the ball and Lukaku doesn't actually put any effort to get it.

Havertz is trying to pass to someone in the box from that same side but Lukaku is constantly hiding behind a defender, he doesn't care to get involved at all, he doesn't come deep to get the ball not even when it's very noticable that he hasn't had many touches, when a good player feels like he's not getting the ball enough he goes deep and tries to have some touches but Lukaku doesn't care the slightest.

Ahh so now we want Lukaku dropping deep to receive the ball? Got it.

Sarr was miles late on that pass. If he hits it on time and Lukaku doesn’t get on it, then I could understand.

The bigger problem is our biggest chances have been created by Sarr and Rüdiger.

While Lukaku has been rubbish, Tuchel has to take some responsibility for our poor attacking play too. He picks the team and has other options available. We have no attacking edge under Tuchel.

Can't wait for the mental gymnastics about how Ashley Barnes and Jack Cork are better than all our player's.

Lukaku played in our 3-0 win over them earlier in the season. We have just deteriorated as an attacking side over the course of the season.

We went on a great run with playing a striker why can we not just do that again

as for going back to mend from a corner why is anyone surprised? We are an awful watch

Not reactive enough to let one goal change things, yet that is exactly the thing you were doing by mentioning Weghorst’s goal.

Any good player, any so called superstar player, when not involved will go deep to get some easy touches at least to get into the game. Messi, Ronaldo, you name it... Lukaku said he's a superstar didn't he? Why is he hiding and waiting for a perfect ball? Sarr wasn't late, Lukaku hinted that he wanted that ball but he wasn't actually making a run, when a player makes a run into space in order to get the pass that is into-space, he's actually running, Lukaku didn't do that, he's faking it.

Can’t get a stream, but no bother as radio commentary and comments here help me visualise perfectly how we’re playing … the same slow, ponderous sh*t as usual! What has happened to this team?

No he didn't. We won all previous 5 games with 16 goals scored without Lukaku.
