I'm on holiday near Barcelona this week and today I visited the Nou camp. 

Don't worry I didn't go in or buy anything, just had a little gander outside. 

Hoped to find a magic lever to pull for some much needed cash but alas, there was no such thing in sight, just overpriced merch and tourists such as myself out there.

We did go on the tour. Got photos of my kids with the CL trophy, 7 years before we won it.

50M€ + Azpi & Alonso + we pay de Jong's deferred wages for de Jong and Depay

If we could convince Frenkie to join I think this would be a deal which suits all parties, Barca apparently negotiates with Depay to let him go for free and he would probably do that if he could join another top club, Azpi & Alonso want to go there, we search for a striker and have the need for a quality central midfielder with the contracts of Jorginho & Kanté expiring next summer and Barca gets needed cash, two players they are interested in, plus two players of the books which helps them registrate their new players.

I don't mind giving them Alonso if Cucurella joins but I hope we keep Dave, unless his head really has gone. 

 

Does FDJ even want to move to England? It seems to me he's hardly pushing for a move, and I'd prefer we had players fully committed to the cause.

I would pay Frenkie the sum Barca owes him(17m€?) to convince him to join us, because I don't think he'd leave them without getting payed that and I rate him as a top player who I think would fit our system and Barca's situation aside Frenkie has a longterm contract there and his market value at the website transfermarkt is estimated at 60m€.

How much could we get for Azpi & Alonso realistically anyway in the last years of their contracts with them wishing for a move to Barca?

In this aspect I would just respect the wishes of one club legend and another good player for us and rate the overall transfer fee players included for Frenkie at something like 80m€, plus we would get a good attacker in Depay for free, who I could see functioning in our system as a squad player.

I can understand that maybe the 50m€ cash fee to Barca is kinda high, but realistically at what number would they accept a fee and we would get a good deal out of it? Their situation aside, I don't think that Barca would sell one of their highest valued players without getting some good cash out of it.

This clown really went and randomly posted a Wikipedia stats table about Ben Chilwell apparences just to be wrong about his number of games and falsely claimed Chilwell supported us like it matters.

It doesn't really matter who a player supports growing up but given Chilwell literally came out yesterday and stated he supported United growing up it just made me laugh.

Barca need to sell players much more than we need to buy their players.

I'd be happy to have both De Jong and Depay here.

But they have absolutely no leverage if it's a deal we're pursuing there's no way we should be including that kind of cash fee and paying any wages they owe.

If they want Depay and De Jong to leave so desperately they're going to have to take a financial hit not get a fair price from us.
