Frustratingly when either Gerrard or Lampard are one of the first to be bombed, Rodgers will no doubt pop up at either Villa or Everton, so i doubt very much he'll even be at Leicester for much longer.
August 19, 20223 yr I imagine if Fofana had put a TR in Leicester wouldn't exactly reveal it. They would be looking for another player and lining them up. Thus keeping the cost down as the selling team don't know for sure Fofana is keen to leave.
August 19, 20223 yr The club need to get a move on this deal if it’s going to happen. Leicester need to buy someone else so if can’t drag on.
August 19, 20223 yr With each day goes by, I take it no news as good news. We aren't paying over the odds for him this summer, let's hope this is just a decoy and we are working on an alternative
August 19, 20223 yr Matt Law said Leicester is in financial trouble and they would have half of the money to use from transfers they generate. So if we strike a deal for 80m they would use 40m of it. This is why it could be really hard to succeed in this deal. He also thinks we haven't bid for 70 or 80, more like 50-60m...remains to be seen.

Still got Ampadu at the club, and push comes to shove that big Dutch lad in the development squad could make up the numbers ... Or offer cash plus Ampadu instead of Trev ?

August 19, 20223 yr Author Chalobah and Ampadu on loan but option to buy for Ampadu i don't want to sell Chalobah

I don't know how Mbuyamba's developement is going as I don't really follow the U23's, but he was on the bench for their last game and last season when TT called on some young players in the early rounds of the cup, he wasn't among them, so I don't think he's a serious option.

Best case I thought we pay 82mill for him and get him August 31st.
August 19, 20223 yr I know football is mental and at times we are top of the list but am I the only one who feels 80m+ is a huge amount of money for this guy ?
