Look at the love de Zerbi is giving Billy G on the pitch. If only Tuchel could have taken that approach with the kid.

I thought when you sub off Gilmour against Arsenal it means you are picking on him and have an agenda against youth?

"Picking on him" is too strong. But an opinion of favouritism or taking the easy option is more reasonable if you were losing, (rather than winning), said game against Arsenal and a fellow midfield player who was playing infinitely worse than Gilmour, and indeed had directly cost you a goal, was left out on the pitch.

Following the Spurs-style fire-drill at the Emirates today, someone made the following point on the Guardian site (in the comments section):

"If that Aguero moment had happened at the Emirates, the stadium would have been empty."

Considering City was trailing by 5 points only a month ago, and 8 points at one stage, it's remarkable they could win the title with 2 games to spare. We will make up the numbers this weekend, give them a 3 goals start and win the second half to gift wrap the title. Arsenal won't win the league for a few years, the rest of the traditional top 6 will all improve next season, and the Arsenal surprise factor has gone. I wouldn't be surprised this time next season, Arteta will be under pressure.

Losing Saliba has really hurt Arse.

Some people talk about jorgi, honestly jorgi is irrelevant. I thought in few games that I watched him, jorgi played well. But he is not a key player, he is just another rotational player.

A lot of moaning on here regarding us not getting Jesus, I think he's been the most overrated signing of the season. He's looked absolutely sh*te since his return, had a good month of form and that was it. Arsenal didn't miss him when he went like they've messed Saliba.

I don't think any of the City rejects were a good grab.

They've mostly been able to rely on the same group of players for much of the season. Jesus' injury is probably the biggest issue they've had to overcome. Saliba has missed games recently, but I think you should be able to survive one CB being out without collapsing.

They've also had a pretty light schedule all things considered. Went out in their first knockout round in Europe, and didn't stick about in the cups. They've pretty much had the league to focus on since mid-March.

It's why I didn't get too caught up in the Arteta hype. They hadn't won anything and it's going to be amusing seeing Arsenal getting battered in Europe again.

Not a lot of interest on here then for the Milan CL semi-final?

Must be something more entertaining on one of the other channels like Celebrity Bake Off or The Dog Whisperer.

I'm watching. How old is Mkitaryan now, he looks 117.

He almost made it through 45 minutes of football to be fair to him.

Quite the variety of Manchester rejects in the Inter squad: Mkhitaryan, Darmian, Dzeko, Lukaku....

Has been a fun game, would be nice if Olivier were to get one back to make it interesting.

I still don't know whether Leao would be a success in the EPL or not. Would probably suit Liverpool best as he seems to do everything he can to avoid any work.

Dunno, I think he has 'bumper Mendes contract and eventual loan to Wolves' written all over him.

Enjoying Tomori's development in the Italian league; in particular he seems to have learned to communicate with his hands.

Whenever I watch Italian games Ploks I never cease to be amazed how much space and time there often seems to be in midfield. Example a few minutes ago with Tonali running unopposed for 20+ yards through the middle. It's almost like their pitches are twice the size of ours.
