Most fans just find it cringeworthy, a Primark-ronaldo acting like he’s bigger than he is, constantly fighting, throwing himself to the deck, no football i.q so always offside or losing possession, can’t hold onto the ball, crosses that don’t meet, miss-timed passes, no discipline. There is ‘something’ there as far as talent but he’s a diamond in the rough who will stay rough. He’s still under Police investigation, so we’ll see if that leads to any match bans. What!!!??? No football IQ, losing possession, can't hold on to the ball, mistimed passes..... Are you talking about Lukaku???? Cos I don't think my heart will take another worthless piece of sh*t that can't hold on to a ball, lose possession and mistimed his passes this new season. Honestly I can't.
June 28, 20224 yr Why not give Broja a chance with sterling and Kai for a season. The boy has technical and is a willing runner. Richarlison is not a bad player and I love his aggression but I believe Broja should be given a chance upfront
June 29, 20224 yr First Gabriel Jesus and now Richarlison have picked the north Londoners ahead of us, as Spurs are expected to announce Richarlison signing tomorrow.

Hopefully they announce Richarlison as soon as possible, starting to make me sweat.. both players are joining sides ‘at their level’, although that’s a bit harsh on Everton.

Totally agree, the sooner those two wrap those deals up, the better. Especially Richarlison. For me this is probably one of the strangest moves ever. It is simply crazy to believe this guy, this charlatan, Richarlison, would ever be a 60M player. Not in a sane world if you ask me. And regarding all these lousy articles saying "Club X has tried to hijack Club Y to the signing of Player X"... IMHO most of the time it is total BS "leaked" from a certain club to make things look better for them. In this case Spurs informing journalists Chelsea have tried to steal their target. Yeah right... Give me a break. When will Spurs ever learn they should concentrate on Arsenal, Everton, Leicester etc. That's their level. Stop comparing with the big boys you are out of that league.
June 30, 20224 yr While I don't want Richarlison, Conte is building a formidable side and he always delivers domestically. I feel he will get closer to City and Pool than us next year.

His PL win was the season we had no European games. He is crap in Europe & struggles when he has to juggle domestic and European games. I expect this to continue this season.

Juve finished 7th twice in the league before Conte was appointed. He was the one who revamped that team and made them the strongest in the league winning 3 times in a row. Same for Inter as they were finishing 4th and weren't really expected to break the dominance of Juve finishing 21 points behind them. Conte finished 2nd in his first season and won on the 2nd. And we all know where we were before he came in. We weren't even in contention as everyone was talking about Pep at City, Jose at Unted, Klopp at Pool. And Conte beat them all in his 1st season. You are heavily underrating him. Edited June 30, 20224 yr by RomansRoubles

Spent €90m+ in 2011 at Juve which was a ridiculous at that time, spent €170m in 2019 at Inter. Let’s see what he does this season. All the times he has been fired it’s been because the level of spending relative to the result (league title) was unsustainable.

And Spurs seem to be giving him that backing which was my original point. You get him his players, he will find a way to win.

And will never have. They are only relevant because they are from London. They have an elite manager in charge, but still will find a way to bottle things. It is what they do.

June 30, 20224 yr No point in buying mugs like this player for the sake of it (club have just denied trying to hijack this transfer stating the price was too high apparently which if factual is good news imo). We've got a new owner whose getting hands on but he cant know the global footy transfer market inside out like a topnotch DOF as he's new to the sport and league; that factor together with the Tory govt's embargo and restricted operating license at the end of last season has handicapped the club considerably in the rebuilding process that is required. I'm sure there will be signings but not all neat and tidy and done before pre-season like City, Dippers, Arse & Spuds appear to have done. As we know this will impact pre season preparations and ultimately impact form and league position. Im not expecting top 4 next season tbh as its defo a massive squad 'Rebuild Job' which wont get done in one transfer window. What we do know - No Lukaku Rudy & AC. Maybe Dave or Alonso might go. The loanees will return for pre season assessment- Gilmour, Gallagher, Broja, Colwill, Ampadu etc. And we know who the rest of the squad will be barring any players being sold or loaned eventually.
June 30, 20224 yr Not a fan of Richarlison, but agree with comments on the side Conte is building. Must continue with our own priorities and think there are better options.
June 30, 20224 yr Each London clubs gets a Brazilian, sounds like a fair deal. There were no bidding wars for Jesus and Richarlison, who even put in an acceptable bid won.

Unpopular opinion however a front 3 of Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison and Raphinha would be far more effective than anyone We have right now. With mase supplying them obviously.
July 1, 20224 yr Conte is a great coach, the new Mourinho in terms of building a team for a season or two. He is also good at spotting talent. The guys he brought into spurs last xmas did really well for the team themselves and him.
