Rafael Leão the Wizard

Seeing as Gnabry is an Arsenal fan and isn't willing to come it seems Rafael Leão is the other alternative on the list.  Now I loved watching Hazard play even when we lost he added so much joy to watching Chelsea, and I think this lad is someone who could add that flare and enjoyment to matches above all other players we've been linked with.  He's a bit raw, but he looks to have every attribute need to succeed in the premier league.  I've been hoping we'd buy him before the transfer window opened, now we're starting to get some rumours emerging I'm starting to get a little excited.  Yeah I know he has a big price tag but so what he's that bit of magic we've been missing since Eden left.

Rafael Leao (W/F) Real Madrid are interested in him as they clear the decks - and they would look to including Marco Asensio and Luka Jovic in a deal which will cost around €120M. Manchester City see him as an attacking replacement for Sterling. Milan want him to stay and sign a new contract, but fear a significant offer from Manchester City, Chelsea, Madrid or PSG.  But they want a LOT of money. One Hundred Million units of currency.

His final ball is just as poor as anyone elses' on the team so he'll just add on to the frustration imo. His best attribute appears to be taking the ball past players which he won't ever see in the Premier League.

Need proven quality atm and Sterling + Gnabry are it.

If we're going for proven quality up front then surely Lewandowski has to be the prime target, regardless of age

Can we offer 100 million units of yen, please?

He would be an exciting signing, more of a gamble than Gnabry though. If we cant get either of these, i would try and get a deal for Nkunku to come next summer, then just go with what we have, maybe keep Ziyech for another year, especially if we are going 433.

Turkish Lira?

It's always kinda of ridiculous when the amount of money is over 100 million.  Even Big ROM was only £97.5m. Sterling. Pounds. Not dollars or Euros. Because then he would have been over the 100 million mark.

Rafael has a €150m clause.  No Sanity Clause. Milan are now willing to offer him a new €6m-a-year deal, extending his stay until 2026.

But there is hope. He aint worth 150m euro’s, he will leave just like kessie – undisclosed fee – most likely around 80-90m euros – as everyone knows Milan need to sell, unfortunately . . .

Just been looking at the standard Youtube videos and he does look good......but the space players have in Italy, it is just ridiculous. There is just so much room, never getting that time and space in this country, never.

Thanks whitewall. I will copy and paste this in a lot of the rumour threads. I find it hard to get excited over any player in Serie A at the moment. Federico Chiesa is probably the only exception but he is coming back from a serious injury.

AC Milan are understood to value Leao, who scored 11 league goals and was credited with 10 assists in their title-winning season, in excess of £80million. (Times) #CFC #ACMilan

Chelsea are also being asked to structure the transfer in such a manner that Leão is relinquished of a substantial CAS-imposed fine he owes to former club Sporting. (Times) #CFC #ACMilan

Club-to-club negotiations over the weekend have included the possibility of Milan taking one or more players from Chelsea’s senior squad as part of the deal for Leão (Times) #CFC #ACMilan

Never heard of him. Is any good? Or another forward that can’t finish?

Got to admit I've never heard of him either. Law of averages means he is probably better than what we currently have, but that's not saying much.

Spent 170mill already including the 2 young midfielders. Supposedly another 50mill on Gordon, 80mill on Fofana and now 80mill on Leao? Seriously are we going to spend 400mill and still have huge issues with our central midfield??

AC are secretly coveting Barkley, I'm sure of it

His goal record isn’t exactly inspiring. 11 goals in 24 games last season and then low numbers in the seasons before.
