Conte for me.

Be ideal and hilarious but can't see it happening.

I think the squad needs grounding without the high profile name of someone like Zidane.

I'd be happy with Potter

Potter is the clear favourite with Paddy Power ... surprised Thomas Frank is so low down as you'd think he'd a  good fit for the data-driven approach Boehly wants to take. They're also clearly missing out on their woke points by not including Emma Hayes LOL

With the possible exceptions of Zidane and Simeone not one of these guys would even get a job interview at any club if the club thought Tuchel was avaliable.

They're all Massive massive downgrades.

Potter is a good manager, but he got where he is by slowly building a team from the bottom to mid table. How many months will the owner give him? 12, 18 max, and if he thinks a cup win keeps him in the job, think again. Poch couldn't hack it at PSG, managed to lose a title and f* up CL ties. ZZ only manged Real and won 3 CL in a row, does he want downgrade? Simeone playing good football? We aren't going to attract elite managers, whoever come in will be fighting for this job everyday, f* youth development, f* good football, just win or get sacked.

Potter is a very interesting candidate. Enjoy watching Brighton, he's done a wonderful job with limited resources. Would love to see what he could do at Chelsea.

If Potter is a no go, I'd take Pochettino or Rodgers but only on interim basis or at least on a contract that can be canceled easily and without much financial damage. Don't particularly rate either but they're experienced and may work well short term until we get somebody really good.

The rest on that list are not good options for different reasons.

I don't think Potter will leave Brighton in the sh*t after a month of the PL start. But he would be my favourite.

I hope it's not Pochetino, never rated him and he stayed way too long at the Spuds.

Zidane is an unknown for me. Never rated the way he coached Real Madrid, but he got brilliant results with them. Though I always heard that he had a lot of conflict when at R Madrid and not all was rosy.

McClaren DoF to sort out the terrible carpet situation and Dyche as manager for the inspirational .WAVs.

I had the feeling this was already on the cards and may have contributed to the half-arsed performances the players have been putting in lately. The result/performance last night gives the board the justification to get rid of Abramovic's guy and appoint one of their own. Tuchel is also a pretty volatile guy so I can imagine there might have been some tension behind the scenes. Presumably the board will already have somebody in mind and have some kind of preliminary agreement. If not, and this really is a reactionary sacking to a rocky start to the season with a destabilised squad, then it's f**king ludicrous.

Anyway, out of all the rumoured candidates, I'd like to see Potter here. Pochettino looks a decent manager but is nothing special, and definitely not somebody you'd sack Tuchel for. I have no idea about Zidane as a manager because any semi-competent coach would have some success at Real, but I could imagine Boehly being tempted by the 'glamour' factor of having such a legendary name at the helm.
