If anything i'm seeing agendas from for example United supportes to keep Potter in his job. Because they know we are royally screwed and no challenge for as long as that continues.

I'm sure if we ask the other 19 managers in the league, they will be all speaking highly of Potter and wants him continue his 5 year journey at Chelsea. It's 3 points on offer everytime, as long as you come in with a bit of motivation and work rate.

I think what Potter meant about Wednesday night football was -  I have never done this before playing 2 big games in a week, the Southampton interim manager was lucky he didn't have to go through it.

Realistically I'm not sure who we would even bring in as interim. I was going into this new set of fixtures with some confidence, but we have 2 pts from the last 3 games. They were not difficult fixtures either. West ham have been poor, Fulham have been pretty good but still beatable. Southampton are bottom of the league and we lost to them and looked toothless. There doesn't seem much confidence or cohesion. The Dortmund game was a bright light, but then we lose. Now we lose again today. I'm not sure what happens honestly.

The league this season is very difficult, but the likes of Utd have looked poor and still win. Newcastle have looked poor and still won. The same for City and Arsenal too. Tottenham are getting fortunate with Kane saving their asses, but everyone at the club needs to figure it the f**k out, and quickly. Just to top it all off Azpi is badly injured leaving us short once again at RB. There are no real glimpses of hope even. CL would have been that and we played so well against Dortmund just to bloody lose. I am honestly confused how we go from that performance to today's against 20th in the PL.

Ancelotti, Jose, Tuchel, Conte= Great

Lampard, Sarri = one was desperation, the other quit. 

So out of 6 judgements, 4 great, 2 bad.

Incidentally, I genuinely think Roman would have gone Potter as well, he was the name everyone went to, he was courted by lots of clubs, and would have been no more surprising than Lampard, Tuchel or "never won a trophy" Sarri.

I'm sorry but the players we have and the squad it's an utter disgrace we are where we are. Beaten at home by a team who can't buy a win.....

AVB had a better record for a start....

I understand that Potter came in at a difficult time, but we have most of our players back now and brought in some fantastic signings, had pretty kind fixtures recently. I am not understanding how we aren't looking improved. It doesn't make sense. I think he's in trouble if the next 3 fixtures are negative.

There is a guy available who got a side to 8th in his first season as a PL manager, went to a different club and finished 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the five complete seasons he was there, reaching a domestic cup final and a champions league final as well. Oh, and playing some nice stuff that was easy on the eye, scoring goals and promoting youth.

Its all irrelevant. AVB and Scolari had settled incredible squads in a much less competitive league. 

But you could spin it any way you like, there is no variance in failure for me. If you fail you're on the same level. 

I think all the talk of a long term project etc goes out of the window when you spend £300m in one window and sign some of the best young players in the world. Who cares what we look like in a year, we need to be better now not producing the crap we are now. 

it’s now 2 wins in 14 which is not good enough, regardless what stage of the project we are at. If even half of those games were wins, so 7 or 8 wins in 14 games then I think the feeling at the club would be much more positive and be willing to give him more time. In that run we have dropped points to Fulham X2, West Ham, forest, Southampton; and they are all teams on paper we should be beating. We were outplayed and out-fought by the worst team in the league today, who don’t have a manager, again not good enough for a club of our stature. 

If he is still in charge for Spurs next weekend and we get embarrassed, then I think it will get ugly in our away end. 

Honestly wanted to work out for him and us but it’s looking more and more like it’s not going to. I think the most sensible option now would be to sack him, get an interim manager in until the end of the season and spend from now- June taking the time to identify and interview suitable candidates. What I don’t think we should do is go for someone like Poch just because he’s currently available. 

I think a project is fine if there's progress being made. The injuries were sh*t, but honestly the last 3/4 fixtures in the PL have been pretty woeful. I was really hopeful that things would change, but it's not particularly promising is it. Arteta did well at Arsenal before, but he never spent the money we have and brought in that kind of talent. There has to be a sign of progress soon. As I say, the next 3 games are going to be massive for Potter's future. Leeds at Home, Tottenham away, Leicester away, Everton at home. I don't even feel confident we can get 6 pts from those games, let alone 12 pts.

I would take AVB right now he at least had a plan. Not sure what happened with scolari but he started on fire and I don't remember it getting as bad as this.

No offence but if you don't go you can't slag off the fans. If you did go you would see exactly what it's like day trippers, bored couples and tourists people with their phones out blogging etc taking photos of the food and beer it's just dreadful. But it's not unique to Chelsea it's every top club West Ham has a lot more locals than we have but even they have the same problem but not as extensive as other clubs.

All of the top clubs the atmosphere is terrible fans expect to win not hope to win look at the difference with Leeds again mainly locals the same for Everton really good atmosphere when their crowd are up for it. Ask any fan or player about the best atmosphere they have played in the last 15 years and they will all say Pompey Thierry Henry said it they gave him a standing ovation when he got subbed despite him running rings round them for 90 mins.

By the way anyone thinking a new 60,000 stadium will make things better it won't just more of the above and probably even less atmosphere.

Potter's fat, short arsed Scottish sidekick winds me up too.  The look of that guy just screams to me "lower leagues".... Nothing against Scots, my all time favourite player is Stevie Clarke, but Potter's mate, no f***** way.

Based on responses I'll decide to watch motd, I usually skip it when we lose but I feel like I'm missing out on one of my favourite shows just because my team is doing poorly results wise

9 points now has to be the target...I fully expect to be passed by Everton by the end of next month.

If we don't start picking up points soon, then we are in deep trouble. Our run of fixtures in the last 8 games is mostly really tough. Trouble is our next 7 opponents are all in way better form than us.

One game I've been to this season was Milan. Had more Milan fans in the west stand than Chelsea.
