perfect description, small flashes of brilliance with the majority of most games making minimal impact and often costing the team.

Have you been watching Napoli this season?

Very harsh criticism here as he isn’t that raw technically to the point where he is a detriment, he can link up play; besides, the way Napoli setup provides the perfect environment for him where there’s ‘a lot more where that came from’ in regards to missed chances. Osimhen is basically just a Nigerian Haaland, in that he is a specialist number 9 who doesn’t drift and has that ‘6th sense’ in a positional sense with the physicality and pace to boot.

Osimhen needs to be at a club who adopt one of these 3 styles of play:

. positional play side

. counter-attacking side

. pressing-orientated side

So pretty much rules out our possession-based / ‘whatever it is Potter thinks he’s doing most of the time’ side. Top top player but we should just avoid signing a number 9 unless the perfect specimen comes onto the market.

Nigerian Haaland is an interesting description. Imo like any player, it comes down to what you need your st to do.

If you want your st move sideway all the time (tuchel ball), then oshimen will be trash.

If you want your st to drop deep all the time (kane under mou), then oshimen will be trash

If you want you st to lead the line (pin cb, simple layoff and get goal)  oshimen will be good.

So was I

I don't see anything from Felix to show why we should sign him, he's just another all fart and no pooh player, flicks, tricks, no end product.

My thoughts as well. Haven't seen much of Oshimen but what I have seen I can't see him being a success here with how we operate. For 130-150m as well we need to be sure he's a guarantee.

Need to be patient.

Please reread the thread and the comment you’ve quoted and realise who I was talking about

Disagree here....looks different class from most of our players. Can control the ball for a start.

Why? Multiple top players have gone to clubs with no UCL, including Ronaldinho three times.

Said it before and i'll say it again...the best thing about Osimhen is the amount of goals he scores from sh*t chances. When I think of the top strikers in the EPL's history I think of players like Aguero, Suarez, Drogba, van Persie, Rooney scoring 15 scrappy goals and 5 screamers a season.

if united want him and they play ucl its obvious a boost to them

We've had players give up UCL to join us in the past. One season isn't going to change things for most players (as we saw with one of the best young players around joining us at the point we're likely to miss out).

Tuchel didn't want to comment on Osimhen but apparently Bayern wants him. Though there were reports of Bayern wanting Kane as well.

Issue here is the prize. Napoli will want a bidding war, and with PSG, Us, Utd & Bayern interested they will get one. Can’t see Bayern paying what Napoli will demand.

Apparently Napoli have asked us for Pulisic plus Broja plus 60mill for Osimhen.

Would not Be happy to lose Broja.

I'd take the deal if it's true, enough said about Pullisic, Broja is a great potential but that's it at this stage,  came off a long term injury, never know how a player comes back from that. Of course, I don't think Napoli will settle for a deal like that, they value Osimhen at 150M from what I read.

Yeah his price varies. This rumour had Napoli asking for 120mill pounds, and seeing Pulisic values at 25mill and Broja at 35mill.

Think it would be a great shame to let Broja go now, he has something special about him.
