Why rush??? They can complete the deal if they want.. then they will have Oshimen in their hands on wages they can't afford and a disgruntled player to boot. Worse case scenario for us is to sell Lukaku to Aston Villa or on loan till January... Or send him to Turkey to reunite with Jose. Let them. Neres is not the target man profile Conte wants to lead his line. Is a bluff.

Yeah let’s sell Lukaku for €30 million as long as they sell Osimhen for €50 million

All for selling Lukaku to Napoli, it's just make no sense keeping him on our book, yet won't ever play for us again. I don't think the Osimhen deal will go through, Napoli refused to sell him to PSG for cash only deal, why they wanted to deal with us knowing our transfer model? I think the over complicated players swap proposeal will eventually break down, and we will send Lukaku out on loan once more.

Re Osimhen. It's well worth looking at who he scores a lot of his goals against. Teams in and around the relegation zone. His record is nowhere near as flash against the bigger boys.

Haven't we learned that scoring lots of goals in other leagues is not an indicator of how well a player will do in the EPL ?

I get what you’re saying especially with our record, but the alternative is to buy someone who hasn’t scored a load of goals.  And we’ve bought a few of them too.

And we have signed players who havent really thrashed goals in anywhere

So what do you suggest then?

I think there is no direct formula to make success certain and we should get the best we can do in this moment, for me thats looking like oshimen. He may take off, he may not. But drogba was also playing in a weaker league before he became a legend here. Lets be open minded.

Annoyjngly, Liverpool always seem to sign good forwards. We should just go for their targets.

I would argue they’ve only bought 2 top strikers in the last 20 years and we bought 1 of them.  Torres and Suarez, the rest have been average to really sh*t.

forgot about Firmino, add him to the list even though he ain’t really a proper striker.

Maybe that helps us shift Lukaku.

Looks like PSG are now interested in Osimhen and they will probably be favorites to sign him. Maybe this will nudge Napoli to sign Lukaku

Osimhen is becoming a bit of a knobhead. “Chelsea fan” my ass. This whole situation is down to him really and his absurd demands.

We might go back to Villa for Duran 

Earlier in the window he agreed contract terms with PSG but Napoli turned down their offers.

So if PSG come back and Napoli compromise with them I feel he goes to Paris.
