I don't blame players for getting as much as they can . He'll do what's best for him and his family. 

I don't think we should pursue him, if Conte would rather have Lukaku than Victor, that's a massive red flag.

If the media are correct. then Conte wants a midfield of McTominay and Gilmour. It could work I suppose, but I'm not sure that's the midfield pairing I would nail my reputation to ...

I don't think it's the fact Conte doesn't want Victor or prefers Lukaku.  I think Napoli can't afford to keep him.  The whole new contract he signed last year was to get the most value possible out of him rather than keep him.   Problem for Napoli is nobody is willing to pay the ridiculous buy out clause they were expecting and his wages are now an issue for buying clubs.  The gamble hasn't paid off his stock has plummeted and now they need rid.   Whole teams performance last season was terrible to add to the problems.

Conte usually waits until the 2nd season before he goes into self destruct mode. Seems like he is doing it from off this time around.

This one I’m not sure. Very worried about giving this guy a very long contract.

No idea how accurate it is but it's being reported he really wants to join Chelsea now. Could be a crazy couple of days coming up.

He also preferred Morata over prime Diego Costa so I'd take his judgement on strikers with a grain of salt.

Honestly, if Napoli have dropped their reported asking price from €110m to €65m, that’s a pretty good deal for one of the best strikers in the world. The question is whether he’s willing to compromise on his wage demands which should be possible if it includes incentivised clauses to fit into our new wage structure.

If they are stars they get paid a lot of money. 

Id they are flops they get paid less. 

It's more heavily incentive based than standard contracts. 

Or so we are told.
