1 goal from open play in 4 league games? Out shot and outplayed by two top 4 contenders in our last two home games?

As has been said for a while this squad is rotten and needs major reconstruction. Sadly Todd bought all the wrong pieces this summer.

According to Potter, we lacked the ‘final pass‘. 😆 Ship that useless fraud out of our club.

If Boehly indeed thinks of this as a long term project, then let him and Potter have at least a couple more windows to get the right kind of players in. Then maybe we can start judging Potter towards the end of next season.

Even our worst managers in the Abramovich era (E.g. Scolari and AVB) got about 6 months (i.e. 35 or 40 games) before the owner pulled the pin.

Let's see how this unfolds first. Things could pick up for the better after the World Cup or we could be a bigger laughing stock than we are now.

Arsenal have won nothing just because they out played US a very poor team at best does not make them good Potter won nothing with Brighton so dont buy into hes a great manager hes  Fraud move on

Boris Johnson and the UK have fked this club up. I believe Boehly is a straw man installed by the establishment.

If someone doesnt deserve to start its Mason. For some reason he has lost his mojo and with it become someone who is mistaking getting agitated and fouling with effort. Not sure who else your playing in midfield given kova was tentative. Kai is definately struggling but has the ability to change a game. My biggest concern is Sterlings fall from grace since Potter arrived. But its all good because kepa has been playing well.

I wish we'd built a team from all the young Academy players we had when Lampard was bought in... just added a few world class players when we were allowed to buy in again and run with that for a few years to see where it took us.

We've been playing with the remnants of JM's team and we haven't replaced those that have gone.

The group we have now look like a collection of misfits - Potter and anyone else we might bring in will have their work cut out.

It was shyte again today but Arse only got one goal and although they deserved it... they were a bit fortunate.

At least Arteta won the FA cup with Arsenal in his first season. Something Potter will never achieve.

Agreed, and let’s not forget that a few of these players were Tuchel choices in the summer. 3 of them were the bottom 3 in the ratings on the BBC site. Arsenal have been better than us in the league since the end of last year and got better in the transfer window. We didn’t improve a single position so there’s no reason to expect more than what happened. 

Anyone else notice how Mount, Havertz, Ruben, Sterling, etc were all running away from the ball whereas the likes of Odeegard, Saka, Partey, Martinelli, Jesus etc were running towards to receive the ball? Hence why they were efficient in transition whereas we were sh*t?

Probably scared to get injured because they are shoo-ins for the WC while Arsenal are on top and saw a potential where they can win the league

Could some one pls point what contribution RLC had in this game? He is tooooo slow. As a result he can't press properly and also cant get forward fast enough to be effective when we r countering. Plus his tackling is not at all enough for him to play as a CM. And then there's his defensice awareness which is pathetic. The only role he can be effective is some kind of advanced attacking role which doesn't require him to run up and down the pitch. 

Why GP served up complete bollocks and has me worried - there was no tactical plan in this.. really none..

1) We knew they press high but we had no plan.. and for the first 15 minutes we tried to play out of the back despite the fact that CC and Azpi (At this stage of his career) are very limited...  every time we simply passed it back to them

2) He was SCARED as a manager with BRIGHTON mentality We had two sitting at the base which meant we had no options in the middle to pass to. His weak mentallity meant and conservative tactics meant we played like a bottom of the league team.. He NEEDS to REMEMBER where he is coaching else he can Fk off very quickly.. we set out to win especailly against Arsenal/Spurs are their ILK.

3) We were so WORRIED we didnt try to play.. our football, in a 4-3-3 to give more options to Jorgi and the defence or to even do a 4-4-2 with two big men upto to take advantage of their high line.

4) We where so worried our wide players where trying to track their FBs even with little apparent danger. FFS we made ben white look like roberto carlos... A chelsea team needed our Forwards to stretch the pitch.

5) He froze when it came to making any changes.. for 30 minutes after the goal we were struggling to even get a shot on... 

I am sorry no sympathy for GP and his coaching team.. he got it wrong 5th time in 5 games... in a game where we needed passion he started with RLC and Auba.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic all our players were dreadful but he was the worse..never passed to any of our players and just kept giving free kicks away.bloody awful

Arsenals players all made themselves as options by creating channels and running towards the ball. 

When ever a Chelsea player got the ball, completely isolated. 

Simple management.

I have never seen RLC running. You mean jogging right?

Its not all down to the players. Inept coaching tactics, sacked medical staff club is a f**king mess right now.
