No one can be pleased with this standard of play but you’re not giving him a fair crack either. A fair crack? The man put Sterling and Pulisic at WBs for close to a month and consistently pick bad starting lineups. We had Conor say "Brighton were up for it more". How is this not a failure on Potter's part? Our squad looks confused and lack belief.
November 6, 20223 yr Potter needs to be careful. The squad do not look together and morale seems very low. That usually only ends one way.

This team needs a massive overhaul What he needs to do is appoint a Football Director. It’s been almost 5mths, and he isn’t any closer. Failure to do that will continue our scattergun approach in the market.
November 6, 20223 yr i never advocate sacking managers , but i fcking hate managers that twiddle their fcking thumbs while rome is burning. potter step up or f**k OFF.

November 6, 20223 yr 1-0 on the score sheet but in actuality that is a 5-0 thrashing and carries the same weight after the nature of that performance.
November 6, 20223 yr What the f**king hell was that? Shocking performance, marked by a lack of desire to win The goal probably summed up how we approached this game, half arsed Potter seems to manage re actively, at no point did we try to win Piss poor by all, on and off the pitch

November 6, 20223 yr 4 minutes ago, EdinburghBlue said: I agree, but this one isn’t looking much better with the purchases in the summer: Aubameyang, Cucurella & Sterling were clearly bad signings from the get go. The first has always had attitude problems and was shipped off by Arsenal for good reason, the second we massively overpaid and the third wasn’t getting a game at city for a reason. The promising thing is Boehly seems to be genuine about us competing for the title. He doesn't seem like he'll sit on hands and buy average players. I mean it's too early to write off the new signings. We need to give them more than a couple months to be fair.

November 6, 20223 yr I'm never one for houding managers/players out. However, that was- no hyperbole- the worst Chelsea performance I've ever seen. No attacking threat whatsoever. Jury's out on GP
November 6, 20223 yr Again, playing players like RLC, Havertz & Jorginho really reduces your lack of threat. There is no reason why players like Gallagher, Zakaria and Broja shouldn't be starting. Bringing on Kovacic late in the game says it all, the lack of creativity is killing. You need midfielders who can drive forward with the ball, create gaps, pull players out of position. Xhaka & Partey literally had so much space. Edited November 6, 20223 yr by Malcolm9

As much as I wishTuchel wasn't fired, he's already gone, and we need to move on. There's no point dwelling on the past and what ifs. Firing Potter will absolutely do nothing to improve our form considering it will be the same players. Personally, my main gripe with Potter is that he continues to play out of form players rather than give those who want to prove themself a chance.

November 6, 20223 yr assistant manager to potter , boss they have found us out, what we gonna do. we can get a job in the carpark sweeping leaves
November 6, 20223 yr Now I've calmed down at least the positive was we lost by a single goal when so many people thought we'd be thrashed. I am sure this would have been a different game with Kante, James and Chilwell available. Unfortunately injuries are what they are and we have to accept we will be hindered by our player losses.
