They also completely fail to understand that standing off opponents in space and thereby allowing the ball to be played round you, usually creates further problems behind, and closer to our goal. Problems that someone else has to solve. I think people have become so conditioned to watching Jorginho not closing that space and not marking an opponent, that they just accept it now and are grateful when he makes a few interceptions.

Though I think he has been good in possession IMO.
