He has been sh*te. As have RLC and Mount. You could take any, or all off at half time and none could complain. Well except the Jorginho family on here who liked that he made a block, got up and pointed. It's sad seeing our fanbase make the same excuses Arsenal used to make for their soft midfielders. They either forgot or are too young to remember how we tore Jorginho types apart back in the day.
November 6, 20223 yr I am a bit confused whether we play 4231 or diamon because ruben is sitting middle all the time
November 6, 20223 yr It’s just dawned on me - it’s November. We never play in November. Credit to the players for starting November form in October this year Edited November 6, 20223 yr by PhilH930

November 6, 20223 yr That’s never a booking or even a foul. What a joke Oliver is. He’s kicked the bottom of his foot, painful but sh*t happens. Edited November 6, 20223 yr by EdinburghBlue

November 6, 20223 yr And this idiot is going to the World Cup imagine that they probably have better referees in Bangladesh or the Cook Islands or Liechtenstein Edited November 6, 20223 yr by azpi28
November 6, 20223 yr How the f**k is that a foul nevermind a yellow card. As someone mentioned earlier it was great early on this season when refs were letting more go. Completely reverted to type again. Edited November 6, 20223 yr by Dr Gonzo

Potter just has an absolute hard on for putting players out of position and shoe horning the biggest underperformers into the team ala Mount and Havertz. We've got what, about 8 players out injured and I guess he can only pick who he thinks will be best suited for each game, although some of his choices are head scratching especially in midfield. I just never have understood any of the last few managers that continually select Jorgi when we play against a pressing or fast moving team as he becomes a bollard for the most part. Mount plays because of his energy, and Havertz because he'll come up with a decent performance at times, trouble is you don't know when that will be. RLC is the most underwhelming player for his size and strength I have seen. I expected a Ballack type player and he's disappointed in every aspect. Until the midfield is rebuilt we will be wallowing around where we are now for the rest of the season, unless January brings new hope.
