Tuchel was part of the squad building. I don't know why people keep on going on about him. He is the one who wanted to bring in a finished player in Aubameyang. He was part of the decision making to bring in Sterling and Cucurella.

He was part of the problem.

The manager who delivered a CL trophy and every domestic cup final is part of the problem lol. He didn‘t even get a chance to work with his new players. Potter is a fraud.

This all started when we signed average players we couldn't get rid of under Conte. The previous board made awful signings and I'll continue to say it. We've been made weaker since the latter end of Roman's reign. .

Don’t forget Mount and Havertz cementing their names on the team sheet

Yeap Potter was playing for a 0:0 and now that they scored it's over. We simply don't know how to score goals without James running on the wing.

We lost at home to arsenal last season under Tuchel 2-4, looked just as sh*t. Lampard made top four with arguably a worse team.

Yep the revisionism around Tuchel is becoming too frequent now.

Did a great job until about this time last year, and then after that it was a total grind.

What a terrible match, with a terrible bunch of players.

I feared we would lose by 3 or 4 to nil, so one goal down is a positive development in my eyes.  It is a new reality I am afraid, so we'd better get used to it.

He was trying to rebuild and refresh the squad.

Potter comes in and basically repeats the same mistake that Tuchel was trying to rectify

C’mon now; rebuilding by buying Aubameyang & Koulibaly? Arteta in contrast got his rebuilding spot on by getting rid of ageing players, and opting for younger players that can press all day.

And Sterling and Cucurella played very well under Tuchel. No one is looking good under the lad we have in charge right now.

He spunked hundreds of millions on total dross, had us playing awful football and people will still make every excuse under the sun.

Potter’s been in the job for ~15 matches, is using another managers squad and hasn’t spent a penny, yet they bay for his head. The double standard is comical.

Yea now Broja is in when the match is basically over so he'll get frustrated and then next match Aubameyang will start again cause we have depleted all common sense and logic.

This is the problem when him, Conor etc. know they’re only getting 15 mins and will be put back on the bench regardless, they end up trying to force things instead of just playing their natural game.

And yet, we still finished 4th, still won the club world cup, still won the super cup, still reached two cup finals and won the Champions League the season before. This lot were punching well above themselves with Tuchel, put an average coach in charge and this is what we have.

Ah yes, the prestigious final trophy. Too bad he only won one.

Too many players offering little or nothing week in week out.

Potter needs to roll the dice and give decent playing time to the likes of Broja, Gallagher, Zakaria and Chukwuemka.

Just punt RLC and Jorginho now and consider moving them on in January. We don't need any more of their half hearted performances. Mount, Havertz and Aubameyang need benched and i only really see Mount of those three reacting positively to that.
