True. But if the alternative is Enzo, at least I know that Palmer has got that moment of magic in him while with Enzo we’re also playing with ten men and he’s got f**k all magic. But it is true that Palmer is well off his game.

If the only thing we get from Roseniors stint as manager is settling Santos in as a starting player for us then it will have been worth it.

Outstanding today, a pairing of Santos and Caicedo will be the best midfield 2 in the league by a mile.

Played very well, although some of his long range passing needs some work.

Yea, i told you guys before, this boy will become one of the top in his position. Believe me, this boy is not even on his peak yet, have a lot to improve.

A midfielder like him can never be a substitute for Enzo Fernandez, he has to be a starter. Understand one thing once and for all: Enzo Fernandez's problem is that the ball is round, and the ball being too round is detrimental to him. I've never seen such an average player sold for such a good price as this guy was.

Good to see my boy doing so good, im very very proud of him. I remember when I arrived here talking about this boy, it's been years, but I already knew.

he actually enjoys defending.. like caicedo.. if he can learn to use his body to win those headers.. he will be all that we need.. Our problem in the midfield is height to be honest.. For us to dominate we need that one physical presence who will win headers.. Every consitent team last 10-15 years has had that.. Fernandinho, Rodri, toure, matic, Fabinho, Gravenhberch, Rodri, rice ..etc. but unfortunately all 4 of them santos, enzo, caicedo and lavia are less than 6 feet..

Mikel was great at recycling possession, A.Santos is much more progressive in his play and happy to get forward.

Exactly - bloody ridiculous - even when he's playing absolute crap he still stays on the pitch !

Nice to see him grow into the role. Hopefully he can end up giving Caicedo a rest at some point.

Then again Caicedo often takes that into his own hands by getting pesky suspensions.

The biggest frustration is how long it’s taken to integrate Santos into the XI.

Caicedo & Santos form one of the best midfield pairs in the league and give such a solid foundation to build off, both defensively and going forward.

Concerning with him coming off looking injured. He would be a big loss.

Hopefully a quick recovery. Finding his feet in the team and an important part of the system and results.
