Far superior passing range than Jorginho. I've seen him partnered with Florentino Luís, De Paul + MacAllister, and Parades and it isn't so much of what profile of player needs to be with him, rather how effectively structured it is. Midfield 3 of MacAllister, Enzo, and De Paul saved Argentina's midfield.
April 26, 20242 yr He was supposed to be an upgrade on Jorginho and destroy the league, instead we got another injured player with an unknown future. Hopefully he comes back stronger and makes a partnership with Caicedo that the fans want to see.

Jorgi and Kova worked well with a back 3. Go with a back 4 and they suffered.

April 26, 20242 yr I think it was obvious Fernandez & Caicedo were injured for a big part of the season. Just didn’t have anyone else that could play there.

April 26, 20242 yr A bit of time out of the football fields could do him good, he's been playing non stop for the past 3 seasons. Cuidate Enzo 💙
April 27, 20242 yr It’s clear to see how talented the boy is at 22/23 .. he is the best CM we have signed since Kante .. his vision and ranging of passing… technical ability etc are crazy .. he has just played one season in this new league and year before joining us he wasn’t even in Europe. he will be as good as Modric in the next few years. He just needs some structure around him.. he would have ensured we were in fa cup final if Jackson hadn’t fluffed his chances.. he bossed Liverpool earlier in the season and city when they were at the bridge ..

It's really frustrating that we somehow managed to get a perfect rebuild on paper that didn't produce anything special, maybe I got spoiled but with Roman these kinds of players managed to lift the whole club up pretty fast so I really sympathize with Enzo and hope he'll come much stronger next season, along with a few others.

No one else compared the cost of the players?
May 6, 20242 yr Author Glad he will be playing in the Copa America. We can then see just how much his hernia injury was affecting him.

The amount of ground he can cover while healthy is insane and if he gets deployed deeper on the pitch his distribution numbers won't suffer because he has a great passing range and good vision, so basically at his best Enzo puts Gallagher on the bench.

May 20, 20242 yr Its silly but i think it was always going to happen, we really should be stopping players going when we pay their salary
