And I'm surprised you never used to say this about Jorginho!

I did mention Pochettino-ball for a reason. Jorginho would no doubt also have resembled a greek tragedy in our current system 😉

He resembles one in every system, glad he helped Arsenal get knocked out of the CL last night anyway

Everyone is getting far too ahead of themselves again. We played a good game against Everton, and the Caicedo and Gallagher partnership worked, but there are also times where it has looked completely sh*te. It was one game, and if we are going to focus on 1 game, then anybody could point at the Villa game that Enzo dominated as a reason to stick with him.

Enzo is 120 m player, he will start no matter what. However if you want Enzo to play deep, you can't have palmer play as 10. Palmer press well but the moment player get behind him he just say f this which mean you put more pressure on your midfield duo to defend. This happen again and again.

... The midfield duo should defend anyway.

Worst player on the pitch but will somehow mostly escape criticism yet again. 100% a liability.

Worst part is that he makes everyone around him worse as well because everyone needs to cover for the fact that he simply can't run.

He's quite obviously injured. Why he's being forced to play is the biggest question mark for me.

Any sort of momentum he had in his career after coming to europe and winning the world cup, has now completely been lost. This move has actually ruined his career. Feel sorry for him tbh. Shouldve stayed at Benfica and moved to a club heading in the right direction. Now he is stuck in this sh*t show.

The Gallagher, Enzo, Caicedo midfield is one of the worst midfields I have had the misfortune of witnessing. The only one with any kind of positional sense is Caicedo, you have Enzo and Gallagher constantly running into each others space, none of them have any clue where they need to be. Caicedo isn't vocal enough and too shy, he should be giving the pair of them sh*t. Worst of all is Pochettino, how is he not seeing how shambolic this trio is playing together? They haven't got a clue how to form any kind of cohesive midfield. Charity games have more structure than this.

It hasn't helped that Lavia and Ugochukwu haven't been fit  to provide any midfield competition, but at this point Pochettino needs to at least try something different i.e. Casadei and Chukwuemeka instead of Enzo and Gallagher.

Ok, so the worst player on the pitch on that site too? I can only say it doesn't surprise me.

Amusingly, given the comments in the match thread, the best outfield starting player is Badiashile !

Then that site is the perfect example of why they shouldn't be taken seriously, because Badiashile is a 3 at best. He presented Arsenal with 3 chances to score with his lazy passing out of the back.

This is why we have a squad like this, because of sh*tty stats like this that don't even tell you half the story of how a player has performed.

Yeah, after last night, I really hope its this surgery thats holding him back rather than him being a complete bust.

I agree with the comments above, I think he's negatively affecting Caicedo with his lack of movement. If theres somthing to be done regarding his injury, then get him out the team and do it. Not only is it stupid to persist with him at this level but its also financial suicide if he is potentially damaging his body further for the future by playing through this.

If it isnt the injury, then f**k knows where we go from here. I really thought him and Caicedo would be a perfect pairing together in the middle.

Looked fantastic under Potter.

So did Badiashile for that matter.

What's happened?

We have a manager who values running/aggression over technical ability.

Imagine a midfield of Toni Kroos and Modric under Poch. Instead of controlling matches, he'd be asking them to run to the extent Dembele and Wynamma did for him.
