I suppose if Everton could get a point last week, can't write off our chances completely. But given the circumstances, it's difficult to imagine City will be complacent like the other night and let we get away with it. Although I just don't see the level of urgency and desperation from this team than other teams in trouble. Maybe Sterling has something to prove, and Kovacic find his Croatian boot for this game, funny sh1t happens sometimes.

 

Likely 3 at the back tonight. 

No fight shown by our players against Forest, I did notice at the end however that at least 4 of our players were wearing gloves! 

Are they really up for it ? 

Any player wearing gloves tonight should get jeered or subbed 

I have never been less enthusiastic for watching a chelsea game than tonight. I might not even bother.

I think we're more likely to see Potter's weird playing og of Cucrella at LCB, where he will be terrorised. Probably Pulisic or Sterling at LWB. 

Off to the game in about an hour. As usual, will be going via the pub for a couple of glasses of orange juice or should that be beer! Am hoping that the lads turn it on tonight but am dreading a big defeat. Here's to being proved wrong. I'll make a prediction of the score after I've had a good swally.

Interesting shout. Think you are mostly right if we go with a back 3, though I believe if we do Dave will either be dropped or replace Trev, and CP or Sterling will play RWB.

Their defence can be got at and have looked shaky of late. High pressing 3 up top gives us half a chance of doing that.

To be honest, it would be days like today where I would love to be there. I would be trying to get some noise back into the Bridge and make the players know how we feel about their effort levels over the past few months. Potter can't seem to motivate them, maybe the fans would fail too, but at least they will know how the fans feel. I remember Mount saying on Instagram before the world cup that things haven't been good enough and they will come back better, but we have seen no sign of that, from him or any other player.

The fans have been too quiet at the Bridge for too long.
