Full backs instructed NOT to move away for from the CBs: Kepa Chalobah Silva Badiashile Cucurella Zakaria (instructed to sit) Casadei Hall Hutchinson DD Fofana Carney That could be mentally scarring for some of these kids. Some way, some how i think TT would have got something out of this game. This could be an horrific event for us if we are not on it.

January 3, 20233 yr The winner is already known here. With a masterful performance we could nick a point but if City is on we will lose. I am hoping some players rise their heads in this one. We have quality in the side but we are not a team. We are a collection of players.
January 3, 20233 yr Lots of teams raise up their games against City, just look like Everton and Brentford. Not sure about us through, we just don't look that desperate or even keen for a win in the past 7-10 games. Like others said, if City is on their game it won't even be a contest, and with Arsenal just dropped points Pep will be pushing them to perform. Kepa andcouple of the defenders need to have a huge game to keep us in the game, and hopefully we nick a couple of goals via quick counter ( haven't seen much of that this season) or set pieces.
January 3, 20233 yr 10th versus 2nd. Tenth. After 16/17/18 matches have been played. Can we pull off the biggest upset of the season? Not a chance!

January 4, 20233 yr Crazy the change in mentality we had going into a game against City under Tuchel compared to now, I think a lot of us would be happy not to get thrashed at this point.
January 4, 20233 yr Comfortable win. Or a big defeat but delighted that it puts Arsenal under pressure. Pep reckons Potter is a genius , so Citeh will park the bus. and yet again my ticket fails to sell on the Ticket Exchange.😂😂😂😂😂😂

January 4, 20233 yr I'd play all 5 fit defenders for this game, try to hold out and frustrate as much as we could, and back the fresh attacking subs to make an impact. I think Potter will go with something like that, there's no point playing possession football and get booed off the field after 0:4. Although I don't even know we have the ability and determination to park the bus for a game like this.

Tuchel's first season yes. But last season we were comfortably beaten by City both times we played them.

LOL. Blaming Potter and sacking him will be the end of us though! None of these would get in the City team (with the exception of Silva if he was 10 years younger!). By the start of next season I hope that only Kovacic and Hutchinson from this lot are anywhere even close to the first team. Side note: Dave is a legend, I love the guy, I love the commitment he has given over the years, unfortunately he is NOT the Dave of old.

It is a reverse phycology tacticos Imagine pep finding out that we play this lineup. He will have so many options in his hand, it will make him overthink. Jogavic in the middle = open season. Azpi being protected by kids = open season Cucu being protected by puli = open season. So many options 😵💫😵💫😵💫 I even forget about Haaland vs Silva sprint race. Edited January 5, 20233 yr by Bob stark

I am of course asking because relegation side Everton split the points with them at the Etihad a week ago. And just before that Brentford took all 3 points against them at the Etihad.
