January 5, 20233 yr With Mount out Gallagher should be on the pitch. He will give 110%, why Ziyech over him? Chalobah should be on as as well. Either at RB over Azpi so we have someone with legs there OR as the one beside T.Silva as he's got some pace and quickness to him.

Trev will come on when we’re 36 goals down to help us save some face.

Call me crazy but I reckon we will pick up something from this game. You’re crazy. Think it’s a matter of how many for City. I’ll happily be surprised though. Granted I’m in my early 30’s, but can’t remember a team coming to the bridge and being odds on to win.
January 5, 20233 yr Lose lose situation really, a shock surprise win and suddenly the midfield is good enough and Zakaria gets awarded a 7 year deal 😅+ we hand Arsenal the title. An expected defeat and it highlights the miserable state we’re in and lose further pace on any hopes of top 4.
January 5, 20233 yr I'm still not sure if I can bring myself to watch this. I might just have it on in the background and vaguely pay attention until they go 2 goals up.

January 5, 20233 yr I really can”t believe he can play Azpi and KK again after the Forest game! Surely Chalobah can replace one of them?

January 5, 20233 yr Do we believe that Mount is injured? Maybe a move is imminent Edited January 5, 20233 yr by WhiteWall

And some got at Tuchel for apparently not playing young players. With the position we are in and the consistently poor performances from the players we are playing today, what reason does he have for not starting any of Chalobah, Hall or Chukwuemeka? He's had a full month working with them whilst the players he is starting today have been at the world cup, they should be in a better position when it comes to understanding whatever it is Potter is putting across in training. Chalobah's omission is the biggest joke, he's lost his place for no reason, he was one of the only bright points about our poor performances before the world cup. Koulibaly has been awful, if any young player performed like he has been performing, he would be dropped and probably wouldn't play another game for the rest of the season.

I am of course asking because relegation side Everton split the points with them at the Etihad a week ago. And just before that Brentford took all 3 points against them at the Etihad. Well Everton are worse than us! Thing is if Everton were playing City tonight I wouldn't rate their chances much either! Of course we all know that freak results can happen, of course we could even win this game HOWEVER if I had to bet my life savings on a result I'm sure you can imagine which way I'd be putting my money.

January 5, 20233 yr Let play predict Potters subs: Gol15 for Zakaria 61 minutes Aubameyang for Havertz 72 minutes Gallagher for Ziyech 72 minutes Carney for Pulisic 87 minutes

January 5, 20233 yr I like the idea of Zakaria and Kovacic as a midfield duo. Don't really like anything else.
