Harry Kane. Will he stay or will he go?

If he goes then Boehly needs to try as hard as possible to get him. We cannot allow Man Utd a free shot at Kane. Thoughts?

Why would he take a sidestep to Chelsea when he could go United and challenge for trophies

When was the last time they won a trophy? Troll 😄

Kane can barely run anymore and when he tries, he looks knackered. If he ever leaves Tottenham, I think it will be too late at this point.

It doesn't matter anyway because Tottenham won't sell to us under any circumstances. They would rather lose out on a few million than sell to us.

Just being realistic, they are constantly progressing under ETH, they are the favourites to win the Carabao and still (outside chance) in the title race

Its 10 years since they won anything ha ha, meanwhile we have only won: -

UEFA Champions League x 2

Premier League x 2

FA Cup x 2

League Cup x 1

UEFA Europa League x 1

FIFA Club World Cup x 1

2021 x 1

As winds ups go, thats an abysmal effort.

I know this sounds insane. But we can't afford him.

Tottenham will charge at least 100m, the most we'd want to give him is a 4 year contract. His value will depreciate in that time.

We don't have the budget to buy 29 year old strikers anymore.

What is more laughable than your fking ridiculous posts is the fact in trolling other forums you decide to use the ID of one of the most cr@p football teams in the division.  Haha Tw@t.

Don't bother biting either, you're on Ignore now, b*ll*nd

They aren't winning the title for sure. They may be favourites to win the Carabao. Doesn't mean they will and I believe next season we will be in a better place than them. Also we are still in the Champions League as it stands. United aren't 🙂

Take Casemiro out of that side and there's little progress to what we saw under Ole/Rangnick, if any.

Judging by Boehly's business oriented pattern, Harry Kane definitely classifies as a very high risk transfer.

30 at the start of next season, huge transfer fee, mammoth salary and no re-sale value. And a FFP headache as well as the fee can't be spread over a long time. Not even five years as it would be stupid to die down a player on mammoth wages over that period knowing he will be 35 by the end of contract.

He is a top striker and will still score for fun for a couple more seasons, but you can already see he is losing his pace and stamina. If he is clever enough and really wants to leave and still be at the very top for the next three seasons, then he'd better choose a club who play possession football and a very high line for the majority of their matches. It would make it easier for him, would not have to run that much.

He is very similar to Lewandowski, this is why I think he'd be clever to choose Bayern. They play 95% of their matches with an absurd high line apart from a couple of knockout matches in the CL. Kane would score for fun there, but is Bayern ready to pay that much of a package for him? I have my doubts. City is another option, but that door is closed with the arrival of Haaland. Paris? Maybe. If both Mpabbe and Messi leave it is a huge change they will be in for him. United? He won't flop there, but won't be much of a game changer either. If the Arsenal match at the Emirates is the barometer for how they are going to look under ETH, then he will not score the 25-30 PL goals they will expect him to score.

@petre ispirescu Good points about Kane.

He would probably be best in a No.10 role as he gets older yet think his options are limited as he ages and slows a bit.

Like you suggest European giants might be interested.

As for Utd surprised they went for Weghorst.

Would he be that clever though? He's already proved how poor his decision making is by commiting to Tottenham for his entire 20's.

I think he'll stay in this league purely because I believe he's fixated on beating Shearer's record.

I’m surprised everyone seems to think it’s time to put Kane out to pasture.  He’s still an elite goal scorer and been dragging Spurs out of mid table mediocrity for years.  I’m not saying we should buy him, but I would hate for Utd to buy him.  I’m hoping he sticks with Spurs long term.

Can't see Kane leaving to go anywhere. He's spent his entire career in teams that will never win any trophies, so why would he suddenly change now ? It's obviously not that important to him, or he'd have switched years ago ...

The "Honours" section of his Wikipedia entry makes for a good chuckle :

Feck him. His peak is over.

If we ever buy him, it should be a 1 year deal in a Van Persie-role.

He had plenty of chances to move years ago but was thick enough to be fooled by Levy.
