Yeah I know mate , just goofing around.

But remember when he came back from coaching in Holland speaking English with a Dutch accent ?

Is that how our Shed end  Val talks ?

Nah @Valeriehas a very sultry and seductive voice, and has mastered several accents from the company her leading man keeps:

Can't believe the number of people wanting Lamps back. Are their memories that short? Are they still wrapped up in the legend of Lamps as a player and are blind to his obvious short-comings as a coach.

It would be horrible to see him come back only for it all to end in tears again.

George on GBFC suggested either Jose or Carlo with Frank and JT eithers two assistants next season.

Would it be successful? Hard to say, but it would be great to see imo.

If it was 100% he leaves at the end of the season with no chance of being appointed permanently (unless we win CL), then I would take Frank back. He loves the club and could rejuvenate us for a bit.

But tactically he is a poor manager. Just look how much better Everton are after they sacked him. My worry is that with all the love he rightfully gets, a few good wins and people will be clamouring for him to be appointed permanently again, which will only hold the club back and ultimately end in tears.

Personally, I think we should just get Nagelsmann in now before PSG snaps him up. Enrique is unproven without MSN, and Pochettino is too controversial.

Mate the season is over who gives a toss, if Nagelsmann or Luis Enrique don't want to come until the summer and it's a choice between Lampard or Bruno Potter until the end of the season I know which one I'm choosing. Plus we've got previous with club legends coming in and winning the champions league.

Our players are a bunch of square peg in round hole mis-fits, in completely disarray.

Having someone back like Lampard, who knows the club inside out- despite being an average coach- is the one bit of stability we need. Will gladly have him back at the helm until we get Enrique or Naglesmann in on a permanent basis.

The safest option on paper would be Pochettino, but I just think the fans won't warm up to him, and the atmosphere would become toxic quickly, like with Benitez. Not to mention the fact that he came 2nd in the French league with PSG is extremely worrying.

I can't see it being similar to Benitez.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the attitude towards him was based on him fuelling the "plastic" narrative with those comments. Eto'o and Cesc (neither of which exactly hid their at best dislike for us in the past) didn't encounter any problems.

I'm sorry but that doesn't mean a thing he will know none of the hierarchy and only about a third of the squad will have played under him.

He’ll give the boys a good kick up the arse. He’ll teach them what it actually means to play for Chelsea.

That didn't exactly work in his last months here last time, or when he was here as a player under AVB.

Lamps back as interim.

Better than bruno, at least you know he has the clubs best interests at heart.

Short term might actually suit him better too, no real pressure.

Seems sensible rather than rushing an appointment, or maybe bruno just didnt want it, so we have no choice, since Barry is angling for his bayern move.

A lot of people forget about AVB, Lampard basically admitted to the senior players throwing him under the bus if I'm not mistaken

Chelsea fans obviously have short memories. FRANK LAMPARD!! Seriously??  Rafa bentitez wud have made more sense.

Lampard almost got everton relegated but we want to hire him. I say keep Bruno. If kai and kovacic had their shooting boots on yesterday we would have won comfortably.

I love Frank, but this is a joke. Even in interim capacity,  what does this accomplish?

Say we go on a run...what then?

Then everyone will call for him to be appointed permanently and he'll be sacked next March with the club outside the top 6, and we'll be back to square one

He did a great job as interim here and will look more attractive for jobs. After Everton stint I don’t think it’s such a bad move.
