I would be very surprised if the process to appoint our next manager is as "extensive" as the leaks out of the club have made it out to be

Reporters don't know dick.

Ben Jacobs and Matt Law were saying Potter would get Liverpool and Real Madrid. Boom. Sacked.

Indeed, Cannot trust them. I do believe we will have a new full time manager sharpish,  and Nagelsmann being out of work prompted this sacking to happen sooner than planned.

The best of them know surprising amount. I am always in awe when they know someone is coming or being bidded. It is weird how much information drip out of clubs.

Football is a real head scratcher at times.

IF we do appoint Nagelsmann, we will be getting the guy Bayern didn't think good enough so sacked whilst they replaced him with the guy we didn't think good enough and sacked. Meanwhile the likes of Warnock and Hodgson keep coming out of retirement to save clubs from another relegation.

It's all bollocks really when you think about it.

Dejavu, here we are again. Never spent so much time thinking about coaches, I've been waiting far too long for my favourite hockey team to get rid of theirs too.

At this point, it'll be cheaper to hire the guy who hires coaches at Brighton. He seems to find the right man for the job, given their players.

Uh-oh. Should be an interesting transition going from Potter to this

A massive positive for me. This lot could use a kick up the backside. Makes the Potter comparisons even less valid which is good

First order of business for the new manager is to get rid of both Lukaku and Havertz.

Stewart should have an interview question stating "Who would you prefer, Havertz or Lukaku"? And if the interviewee doesn't respond by saying "Neither, they are both f**king sh*t", they should be immediately be excused and shown the door.

Tuchel just got knocked out of the German Cup, seems like Bayern just aren't in a good place at all, which makes Nagelsmanns performance there look a lot better

Sky Germany Info : Nagelsmann has made himself available for an immediate return. Talks with Chelsea positive. (@Plettigoal) #CFC

Its a strange change of direction from the comments released yesterday form Julian's representatives, that he would prefer a break for a while. Hmm

The City match next week will give us an idea of where Bayern currently are

If we go with an interim for the rest of the season I wonder if we will just stick with what we have, or try and bring in somebody short term (like we used to with Guus)? As we saw tonight Bruno is unlikely to offer anything different to Potter. He was part of the same coaching team that came over from Brighton.
