April 8, 20233 yr Just kick all of those damn players out after the Season, I don't care about a single one. Playing with academy players or Kids is a lot better than this sh*tshow. No Coach can save this Catastrophe.

Fact is we are WORSE now than we were under him, not only that our performances WERE starting to improve, it was clear as day what our isssues were - nobody to score goals and defence with a mistake or two per game, now our issues are EVERY aspect of the game! Basically Potter was starting from scratch and our next man in charge has to go all the way back to 'scratch' again!! For gods sake we MUST give the next manager time!!! Big clubs have standards. I agree the next manager should have time, but if they're decent they won't need it because they'll get results. However, I'm starting to think the new ownership has turned the job into a monster that no man can tame.

With then having to form a "team" out of x number of new young players who had never played in the EPL. Dont tell me he had time! that is a joke. This EXACTLY, not to mention the fact that he had the worst injury list I've ever known to contend with!

April 8, 20233 yr We'd have bossed this match with Potter in charge. 0-0 draw because we can't finish, but still. I know it's a dead horse well beaten, but he was not the problem. I think a large section of our supporters are going to get a "careful what you wish for" lesson. Edited April 8, 20233 yr by ross91690

Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are 'big clubs', didn't stop them from spending time outside the top division though. NO club has a right to 'top 4' just from their name, I'm old enough to know this from personal experience.
April 8, 20233 yr The big question is whether or not we get caught by 12th! We are an awful team. Completely mismanaged for months, confidence is at an all time low. Expecting this to be the norm until the summer, as it has been since about october. Crazy how far we have fallen off in 12 months.
April 8, 20233 yr 13 of 30 (43%) of games we have not scored a goal in the PL. 9 of 30 (30%) we scored more than one goal. the league table does not lie. I’d be surprised if we finished higher than 11th.

April 8, 20233 yr I actually feel sorry for Frank having to manage players who aren't a patch on what he was and team a million miles away from the ones he played in
April 8, 20233 yr Well we're getting a taste of what it's like to be a Spurs fan, or as somebody else quoted being in Everton territory ... we just have to wear it keep supporting the club and move on
April 8, 20233 yr Todd should get worried right now. That f**king idiot came in and thought he knew everything about club football, signing sh*t overpriced players left, right and centre and sacked everyone in sight. Now we're left with a sorry bunch of players not knowing what formation or who they'll be playing next to in the next game. That idiot has created a huge mess and we may not get relegated this season but surely we're in for a relegation battle next season if things go on like this.

I refer you to the Villa game, that we bossed, couldn't finish, and still lost 2-0.
April 8, 20233 yr Author I can't believe some people were saying "Just get Potter out of the way, and the players will be free to play again".
