April 26, 20233 yr That just sums up how bad we are and how little most of the players care. Brentford were so, so poor today, Aubameyang should have had a hat trick, and they scored 2 goals from 1 effort on target! Dave gives them one, and a rare piece of poor defending from Silva gives them another. It is comically bad. Poor Frank...

If one doesn't start fighting cancer as soon as its diagnosed there's usually only one outcome, and we are witnessing that progression in the slow death of a once healthy and successful team Yep, some of these players look like the walking dead …. Wtf is going on there
April 26, 20233 yr Chelsea lost their confidence, it's true and it's hard to fight back from there but they need a result - they've needed a result since the Dortmund game - we need some fighters not pretty boys - gone soft and all the other teams know it.
April 26, 20233 yr the best place for frank is back in the studio next to Rio. should never have been given the job. I dont blame him for accepting the role twice though.
April 26, 20233 yr Tough watch tonight. It’s hard sitting through the games at the moment. I did stay until the final whistle, a lot of people found it tough tonight. So many stayed in the bars after halftime or left before the end. The club has lost its direction so much from the forced sale. One thing can’t be used as an excuse is finance. Some clubs slump due to money and size of squads, we have wasted so much money and have so many players, it’s almost self destruction.

Arsenal (a) Bournemouth (a) Nottingham Forest (h) Man City (a) Man United (a) Newcastle (h) Realistically how many points to you think we will get from those fixtures? The way we are playing we lose, comfortably, to Arsenal, Cty, United and Newcastle. Forest and Bournemouth are in relegation battles of their own so will actually fight for every point and, arguably, could be more dangerous than the teams we will definitely lose to. I'm not being dramatic for the sake of it, but there is a chance we can slide down towards that bottom three. Forest at home will be our biggest game of the season as it may ensure our safety, and that's something I never thought I'd hear myself say! xD
April 26, 20233 yr Appalling starting line up. What was Frank thinking? We’re playing Real Madrid again? Jesus! Frank set up to contain Brentford! No wonder the players looked clueless. They literally had no idea what they were doing. Frank should never have been allowed anywhere near to manage the club again. Great player but shockingly inept as a manager. Really all he was asked to do was to bring some stability and sensible short-term management back to the club. Not f**king play Gallagher and Sterling upfront. You couldn’t screw it up any worse. Really should be escorted out of the club for impersonating a football manager. Dreadful stuff.

April 26, 20233 yr I'm at the stage where I've just become numb to our current predicament. Where is the pride and the passion from the players to fight through adversity? The way we're heading in, we'll be finishing around 15th at this rate. It's unbelievable how much we've imploded this season and there's still six games left to endure this misery.

Yeah but the Potter out brigade who stamped their feet and shouted as loud as they could are all happy. Potter was the reason they all said. Anyone but Potter they all said. Can't get any worse than the Performances under Potter they all said. Shows what some know.... Unfortunately many of those so called "fans" who promised that they were "done for the season" still keep on coming back.

Only goal difference keeping us out of the bottom three ... Hilariously we've conceded fewer goals than Arsenal. Less hilariously we've scored fewer goals than Everton and Southampton. In fact unless I've missed something (still half asleep so quite possible) it looks like we have the worst scoring record in the league during that run.
April 27, 20233 yr Lamp using the same team vs completely diff opp when his team played well before is one of the most annoying team about lamp. It happened a lot 2 years ago,I still don't understand why he keep doing it.

April 27, 20233 yr WTF is happening to our Club? What an utter shambles we have become. Even Palace, West Ham and Fulham fans are laughing at us. I admit to being "Potter out" and genuinely believed that Frank would get a tune out of this mish mash of a squad. But I admit I couldn't have been more wrong. Frank clearly hasn't got a clue about Management. The current sh*te performances are MUCH worse than Potter's and that is saying something. Twelve months ago, whether playing for Chelsea or playing for their previous clubs, some, so well that we were lured into paying £ many millions for them, ALL of these guys were very good professional footballers. The classic cliche, "you don't become a bad player overnight" has proven to be incorrect, as we have 31 players who have become terrible overnight. So, looking more deeply, what has caused this? Roman's exit? Boehly's arrival and complete lack of any idea of how to run a successful football club, Tuchel's exit, Potter's arrival with a backroom staff who again did not have a clue, and their inevitable & prompt exit and finally "Failure" Frank returning to take things down to a complete new level of poor !!! I know that most on here are probably saying "these are professional players, earning millions, they should still deliver", but if, in your work place, you were unhappy, sad even, there was no leadership, structure or methodology in anything that you were asked to do, good people were replaced with hopeless people and the whole company was just drifting from one disaster to the next, would you stick around? Probably not. The one phrase that I do not apologise for continually repeating is LACK OF LEADERSHIP !! All of the above is a direct result of this, on and off the pitch, the players confidence is shot, the backroom staff have no idea how to get the players performing and we have yet another new Manager/Coach incoming, so I just pray that Pochettino and his "Brains Trust" can deliver the Leadership to turn this sorry Club away from disaster.

Sacking of tuchel which caught a lot of players unawares also I think its pretty obvious that potter and Co led to dropped levels of confidence and belief and a lot of unhappy personalities as he wasn't equipped to deal with them nor the squad size. Injuries (we by far along with liverpool had the worst luck with that this season) and the world cup played a part. Then Frank came in and dragged confidence to all time lows and we are where we are. The season just needs to end its as simple as that nothing salvageable and start with a clean start next season.

Happy to warm the bench and pick up 25 appearances a season and puts in a good shift when he does. Much rather have him than players like Ziyech in the club. Now you put it like that.............😉
