It’d be the (old) Chelsea way of arriving there with them fresh off tonking one of the worlds biggest teams to get to the champions league final, Prem title on the way…for us to beat them at home….

But we can’t even rely on that old Chelsea way now can we…. That’s gone now…. Or can we?

I think we should just see it as helping them to win the title over Arsenal and think about when next seasons fixtures are out!

I think they won't see it as us helping them, they'll want to trash us just as they trashed Real Madrid so let's not flatter ourselves here...

Suspect Haaland will start, he hasn't had a feast for a little while. De Bruyne looked tired last night. Probably bench.

Not that it's going to matter.

No I mean WE should look at it as that, to cushion the blow of getting absolutely drubbed! We should be playing Kepa so at least we can keep it under 5 goals!

The old Chelsea would have loved to get in amongst City and ruin their title chances, this current lot are more likely to be crying in the shower and getting their mums to send in a note saying they cant play today as they have a cold, bunch of spineless tossers.

This is all defendant on Pep.....

Personally I would put out my strongest team, get the league done so he can focus on the cups.  so frankly we are in for an embarrassing twatting, but I hope that we put up a fight.

However Pep is a thoughtful manager, he may pace some players

Either way, all we can realistically hope for is prove we can paly at this level.

City want to win to put the title to bed so they can rest up for their 2 finals. Thrashing us and expending extra energy is not needed.

If we go full on Conte for this we may get out without a savage scoreline beating.

Think it will be a closer game than the one the other night, City will likely just keep possession to see the game out once they get the second. This is the easiest game of their remainings , they could rest everyone once they wrap up this game

Reality check: doesn't matter what team SFL puts out they will get beat likely by a multiple goal margin.

Pros: Gooners will not be EPL Champions and their fluke season will go unrewarded, nobody remembers 2nd place, in fact around here a decade or so ago it was a sackable offence!

Cons: 90 minutes of abject suffering again on Sunday.

I have no intention of watching this one. There is absolutely no scenario where we get anything, even a goal in the game. I suspect 4-0. Haaland with a Hattrick.

The only tiny chance is City players are too content after humiliating Real but when is the last time you saw them content. Their manager doesn't let them do that.

Who is even available?

From what I can tell Cucurella, Badiashile, Kanté, Kovačić, Broja, Mount, Chilwell, James, Koulibaly and Fofana are all injured (oh, and Bettinelli apparently). This leaves us incredibly short on numbers in defence when really we need to play a back five. So we can either start Silva again in a back four (against Haaland) or stick in Azpilicueta and a makeshift right wing-back (presumably Ziyech).

Something like this I suppose:

Mendy

Azpilicueta
Silva
Chalobah

Ziyech
Hall

Loftus-Cheek
Fernández
Gallagher

Sterling
Havertz

If the score stays the same at the City Ground we will be giving City a guard of honour before the game.

What a sight that's gonna be - the best performing side this season being congratulated by the side that has underperformed the most (and then we still probs get smashed in the match!)

Guard of honour it is.

Amazing team Pep has built. Such a shame all those achievements are built of corruption and bribery.

Wasn’t aware of bribery charges. What’s that about.
