After having a cone up front in january seeing Jackson back felt like the 2nd coming of Drogba

Good to see him back amongst the goals.

9th goal for us this season I believe looking at the stats. Not bad, not bad. 

He's frustrating to watch, but he's grabbing the goals it has to be said. Considering he's level with Lukaku who we signed for a 100 million to play as your key forward.

Also worth remembering that he is still young. 

Have always liked Jackson. Certainly the equal of Kalou and stronger as well.

I like Jackson and i find it strange he gets so much hate considering most of the fanbase loved Timo Werner and Jackson is miles better than Werner.

All for Jackson starting at LW/LF

Things around the team were much more positive when Timo was here, and we do love a trier after all. Plus we had J5 and the Lump to hate.

Think it's because we were top 4 and winning the CL/reaching cup finals with Timo. Jackson picks up a lot of the flack because of the form of the team as a whole and the chances missed costing us because the team is poor. 

Had we been languishing 10th with Timo i imagine he'd have been scrutinised as much.

Plus Timo's personality and attitude. Which isn't to diss Jackson's, Timo won a lot of hearts.

This is the issue with our signings. We have signed some genuine quality that you would like to think will come good over time, then we went and got players like Jackson and a few others that will just hold us back.

No argument there Jack. Tammy was garbage in the air to, but at least he normally jumped for the ball and made a challenge. Jackson very often doesn't bother. He has no timing whatsoever or the anticipation and aggression to attack the ball.

Cech's comments in the first half were brilliant. He said when he was playing, and we were up against a team playing a low block formation, we could often break it down by firing the ball long to Drogba. 

Spot on. Drogba had the aerial ability to win most aerial duels and the strength and physicality to hold the ball up and give others time to play off him. Jackson doesn't have that and I don't think he ever will.
