One last point...

I thought the way we played was actually disjointed. James had to go around to every single player of ours after the 90... Liked the way Jackson celebrated with the fans, pointing at the badge. Just didnt really seem as thought too many wanted to celebrate with him. The team just seemed to be relieved rather than delighted.

Think some team bonding sessions might be needed. Also, when a pass to a colleague unmarked is on in the box, I would like to see a pass. Cucurella was a major sinner not squaring for Sterling on his chance, a few more in the dying embers of the game as well.

But thought we handled the game situation well. I did actually enjoy seeing the needle given out by our players. More of that please.

So glad I made the decision to just watch the game last night and not post on here - there was far too much going on without getting distracted by the Shed End and some of the knee-jerk posts!

Unbelievable game of football - too many incidents to remember! To go from being battered for the first 15 to end up winning 4-1 but at 2-1, nearly throwing it away against 9 men and the worst player on the pitch walking off with the match ball under his arm..................Crazy game!

Crazy game but great entertainment. I have had a really bed week but woke up this morning feeling good thanks to Chels.

I can forgive our young players for looking unsure playing against a shape they have probably never seen before.

They got the job done. Nearly all our new recruits look promising but are a long way from the finished article. I think Pochettino is showing signs of being the man who could build a team in time. His in game management is very good - usually a good sign.

Ange is being praised for sticking to hos system. All well and good when things are going well. When they face a sticky period we'll know more. Praising him for the shambolic management last night is a joke.

Well I reckon Fat Ange's high defensive line was plain mental. It lacked any semblance of logic. It was the Kamikaze plan of a pissed up mug punter sitting at a Blackjack table holding a Queen and a Jack and still deciding to turn another card from the dealer in the wild hope of drawing an ace.

As others have pointed out, it was only a matter of time before we cashed in. A two man numerical disadvantage, no real pace, other than Son, in their players left on the pitch. Particularly in the defenders. I would assume he is smart enough to know we struggle to beat a low block and don't have an out and out recognised goal scorer?

He seems a nice enough bloke but I also think the praise he gets is well over the top so early in his EPL career. That was just crazy tactics last night and if Frank Lampard, or any other manager, had played that way the media would have rightly slaughtered them for it.

Spurs manager was getting praise but any Chelsea fan could tell him to play a low block, do that from half time and he likely gets at least a draw. It was absolutely crazy tactics especially with his 2 starting CBSs missing too.

I do my best not to post until the day after games personally, helps keep my takes at least slightly measured...

Still pretty deluded though to be fair

First half, and against 10, we played quite well  better defending from Colwill they don't score the fluke goal. We were on top of them when the pen happened. Remaind so after and should have been 1-2 up at the break.

Against 9 we lost our way, but got the job done.

We do need to work on our set piece defending though. How 9 men created 2 clear chances like that is baffling.

What was Mudryk doing with the match ball?

Mudryk wasn't great but wasn't great for 35 minutes as opposed to 90!!

Cheer up you lot.

Spurs fans were delighted when they beat 9 man Liverpool with a late goal and helped with an outrageous VAR decision.

We had got back control of the game against 11 men, , they had scored via a large deflection and their keeper had a blinder.

All down to them for the red cards, all down to their manager for the daft high line too.

And at last he looked and sounded like a proper deflated typical Spurs manager afterwards. 🤣

Come on you BLUES !

We need to remind ourselves how we would feel if we lost..and Spuds were unbeaten 😊

That's a name I haven't seen around for a while, Good to see you @Beerqueen

I can only bear to come on here and talk Chelsea when we have a good win.  Yes, it's been a while!  Not that I don't follow Chelsea when we're sh*t, but I just want to go and hide, not discuss our failings at great length.  But when we're doing well I like to come and share our happiness!
