4 Center Backs to start, Palmer upfront? I think the similar ( if not the same) setup as Villa game. It's rare to play against them without their Kingpin in the team, really hope we take advantage of it.

I wouldn't start Palmer up front. we've tried that twice now and it hasn't worked.

1st anfield game after Klopp announcement 🫣🫣🫣

2nd,  Norwich** got there first yesterday in the FA Cup 4th round tie but no doubt the nauseating cringe fest will go up a notch or 6 for our game.

** With a typical Norwich surrender against the scouse sc*m, losing 5-2

Every Liverpool home game from now until the end of the season will be like "those special Anfield European evenings".  Get ready for the first pumps, maybe even at half time!

I say that with some envy given what Klopp has built there - reminds me of how Jose Mk1 fought for our club.  I think the emotion of tomorrow's game will be too much for our young team, but a good learning experience ahead of the league cup final.

We're getting bent over! The same as we will in the Final! They are streets ahead of us in every area of the pitch at the moment!

The best we can hope for is a draw!

Not being negative, just realistic!

Klopp getting rattled? Hopefully this affects the entire squad.

Quote

"It's completely normal," said Klopp. "It's clear the outside world will not give you a second to process it.

"A week ago no-one knew about my situation. There was still 18 months on their contracts and no-one asked, so give us a break. No-one has to worry.

"Write what you want, the club is stable. Everything will be fine, I'm 100% sure. I would recommend to stay calm. Very often the fans' concerns are not as big as you might think. You underestimate the intelligence of our supporters."

It’s all about Klopp, Klopp, Klopp. Just the way he wanted it I suppose, why announce 6 months early.

Maybe just not as brilliant as the scum and media would have you believe though.

In charge 8 and half years.

7 trophies

(3 big)  EPL 1, CL 1, FA Cup1

(4 Mickey Mouse). League Cup, Community Sheild, Super Cup, Club World Cup.

Not as if he took over a sh*t team, they were 2nd in EPL 13/14 season. Also broke world record fees on CD and goalkeeper and had one of the best goal-scorers already there.

For perspective.

Jose (Chelsea 1st spell) 3 years.

6 Trophies.

(4 big) 2 EPL, 2 FA Cup.

(2 Mickey Mouse) 1 League Cup, 1 community shield.

The same goes with Gerrard. Every non-chelsea pundit ex-player is creaming over him and declaring him best midfielder in England ever. Lampard had more goals and assists and trophies.

Anyway I think Klopp has brought the dignity back to Pool and to snatch even one Prem from City is impressive along with Champions League trophy. He is elite.

Gerrard as too many romantic moments that have capitalized media attention. In reality, he has done nothing that Lampard hasn't.

- Score in a Champions League final? Lampard has done that (hardly anyone remembers because we lost).

- Score a belter in an FA Cup final? If I tell any non Chelsea fan that Lampard scored a game winner in an FA Cup final by cutting into his left foot and scoring from outside the box, they'd think I was making that up.

- Lead an aspiring comeback? Lampard genuinely took the piss out of arguably the best team of all time (Barca 2012) and created two perfect assists at home and away. Ramires chip being the highlight.

Add the fact Lampard was season by season a more efficient footballer, it begs the question why so many people prefer Scholes/Gerrard.

Just being in charge that long earns respect from me.
jose faced a great Barca team at times but in England he had a big money advantage whereas Klopp has had less money than City.

he also bought and developed players skillfully  Robertson, Mane, Salah for instance

i am not a Liverpool fan and Klopp is not Ferguson but it was a pretty decent effort, better than Gardiola so far  my opinion

Things will happen - we get behind their defence and go 2 up early bringing a shudder to the Kop end....they come back and score 2 mid-late 2nd half goals as our defence panics and folds like a cheap suit, we walk away with a point and its all about Klopp; or we go goal down early due to the relentless high press of Liverpool, and from there on in it just gets worse..its still all about Klopp.   We grab a late winner, play great, dent Liverpools title hopes.......and its still all about Klopp, as we are deemed as the villains for spoiling the party and once again they play the victim....either way its a media love in once again and its still about Klopp.

Last 7 meetings between these 2 teams have been draws across all comps including 2 Cup Finals (dippers w on pens).

Klopp leaving may impact that equation but I hope not as a point up at Crapfield is an ok result for any team don't care who you are. If we start with a false 9 of course that may change and give them an edge, but get it if Broja's being sold.

As for dissing Klopp, while he is an annoying winker who works for the dippers one has to give him credit, he went toe to toe with an Imperious City side and even 'nicked' a title from them. Despite his connections with hub cap thieving signing on Vermin of the red persuasion if I could wave Cesc Fabergas' magic wand, I'd have him as our manager every day of the week. Wherever he goes club or country next he will likely succeed and bring trophies.

Jose came into the Premiership which had been dominated being by two very strong managers in wealthy clubs.

Ferguson 38 trophies incl 13 Prem, 5 Fa Cup, 2 CL.

Wenger 17 trophies incl 3 Prem and 7 FA Cup.

So I think Jose achievements far outstrip Klopp considering 3 years and done it from the first season.

Klopp is a good manager but this hero worship is way OTT.

These times where times when title was won by tactic 8 draws and 6 loses per season and with a lot amount of money. Don't forget that.

To break records in PL, win CL, Super Cup, Club World Cup , to beat Guardiola like a trash in CL and PL is more than admirable with much less budget than City
