Again could be said of any half decent lower level manager with clubs that sell players tbf. Is there anything to suggest that de Zerbi would actually be any better than Iraola, apart from the fact that de Zerbi is flavour of the month, or was, largely with, dare i say it, Potter's players.

He's far too stubborn for my liking. Believes in a way football should be played and won't ever diverge.
April 22, 20242 yr I wouldn't have minded Unai Emery but apparently Bayern is interested. Not sure about De Zerbi, don't rate him that much tbh.

April 22, 20242 yr No point changing him now until you get someone who can score consistently, because all we are doing is moving the problem to a different manager.

April 22, 20242 yr Nothing will change we will linger for another year in mediocre with Pochettino. He is not the right manager for the players we have or where we want to be. We can't afford no Champions League football for another season or two our reputation as a big European club will be destroyed. Bayern, Real Madrid , Barca , City would not allow this why should we.
April 22, 20242 yr Is there a way to change your vote? It would be interesting to see how people would vote now and if they think Poch should get another season.

I think the World Club Cup in 2025 could be key here as well. If we stick with Poch in the hope that things improve then we will have to go all in for WCC. If however we want to develop something that gives us a major lift in the following season and strengthen us going into the WCC, then I think a change may need to happen now to give the new guy a chance.

Considering Brighton are almost level with us on about 10% of our budget (and losing their best players), whilst having European games to deal with as well, the chances of him being a downgrade on Poch are pretty much zero. Would he win us the league? Maybe not, but I'd be much more confident of getting top 4 next season with De Zerbi in charge instead of Poch

April 23, 20242 yr If you're not Pochettino out at this point, then you have already accepted that we will never be a serious team again and you're not actually watching any of these games. I get it, he's hamstrung by owners that have assembled the biggest waste of money the sport has ever seen, but Pochettino hasn't come close to building anything that looks like a team all season. He's not made a single improvement to our squad, not one. If anything, they're worse than ever. They are carried by an incredibly talented young player that will leave this sh*t behind once he realises he has no chance of success here. We need a coach that can actually turn these lot into a team. They may not be a very good team, but something is better than nothing.
April 23, 20242 yr Genuinely speaking he should be notified he’s done here. Edited April 23, 20242 yr by Sconnie Blue
April 23, 20242 yr Every time somebody plays well the stupid c**t changes things for the worse the next game
April 23, 20242 yr Think that's enough for me now. Defended him all season but we're getting worse and worse defensively. The players don't and will never respect him, I can't see that changing anytime soon either. I think we need to look for an alternative at the end of the season. I'm gutted it's not worked out as I was really hyped and interested about the Pochettino project, but time to call a spade a spade.

Then which of the near 30+ does he earn a pass, Desasi, Badiashille, Musryk, and Jackson, are nowhere near PL wannabe big boy STD, and Poch is forever ‘Spursy’, I actually like him as a person, but a coach, listen he couldn’t get the best out of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, no f**kin idea!!!
