Can't see why Villa is more important. At this stage of the season surely you play the strongest team you can in each game.

Every game is three points, and why you’d think that we can beat Villa at their turf? And why not have a go at both games?

Plus for all we know there might be good reasons why Silva and Trev weren't ready to go again ... Trev has only just come back from injury, so that might be part of it for him ? Or it could just be a really bad decision to rest both of them LOL

Agree, Ms Silva could post whatever she wants, she doesn't work for the club, and there are way more worse comments out there ( even on this forum). At least she cares, more interesting than another WAG posting motivational pictures in bathing suit.

Or it could just be a really bad decision to rest both of them LOL Not sure I agree though. We had Chalobah and Silva on the bench. Disasi, Badiashile and Gilchrist on the pitch. So 5 fit CBs in the squad. We're playing away to one of the most in form teams in the country two days after being dumped out of the cup and 4 days before facing high flying Aston Villa. Why couldn't we have gone 3 at the back (granted we probably would have still ended up with Badiashile out there) with WBs and kept it tight for a period and see how things went, rather than going out there, drawers down, waiting to be rogered.

April 23, 20242 yr Also they actually can’t sack him because any manager with an ounce of sense doesn’t want anything to do with this sh*te show!!! Name one manager with pedigree who would want this sh*te, knowing they have dumb and dumber as sporting directors telling them here are some 21,22,23 year olds go and win something!!🤣🤣 Poch is actually the safest manager around right now, he knows they can’t sack him and get a better manager with premier league experience. April 23, 20242 yr Match going fans are having enough of this. After the third goal hundreds leaving and shouting “f**k off Mauricio!”. Not sure how many supporters were left as I left early to catch my train and try to avoid gooners on my way back.

April 24, 20242 yr Cut the model. Please. Or at least meet half way. Experience/established players for the first team and young talent for loans/bench. Motta, Amorim, or Flick.
April 24, 20242 yr never wanted poch , but said after thy appointed him ill back him , i was ready for project long run , but, season nearly over and no plan , no improvement , no idea of game management ( subs? ) however sacking poch not open for discussion .chelsea are toxic at moment , no decent manager will come near us. so only left with poor out of work managers ,including mourinho. who had his time. we need new fresh ambitious youngish manager whose proven recently he knows modern game. he needs full control of squad ,tranfers , etc etc we also need john terry in backroom staff. but as i said i dont think any manager wants to come to chelsea . ffs we will be lucky to keep palmer.
April 24, 20242 yr This was Lampard's post match presser in January of 2021 after the defeat to Leicester which got him sacked a week later. Quote "We are not in the position we were when we were winning leagues. The squad consistency is not the same. The level of players are not the same. The ability of players to get you results, particularly in the top end of the pitch is not there. You are asking a lot from these players to be leaders. We are not that squad. This is not a club ready to compete." 5 months later. This team "not ready to compete" won the European Cup.
April 24, 20242 yr Yep, another month, another poll! With this season finishing soon, the club won't do anything until the break if anything! I know its yet more Poch/Clearlake talk spreading around other threads, but interested to see how votes might've changed since the last 500 polls!
April 24, 20242 yr I'm on the fence. I don't trust we will get someone better, especially as Arne Slot is now going to Liverpool. So I'd rather suffer for another 12 months and see if he can actually do anything interesting. I think that at a minimum shows we will give a manager enough rope to hang themselves and means if we do manage to finish in 5th/6th next season we would have the ability to attract someone more interesting. However lose to Tottenham and I'm Poch out and would like to burn everything to the ground.
April 24, 20242 yr Forget getting humiliated by Arsenal and Havertz scoring a f**king brace. It's losing to Spurs that'll do it.....
