First big test for Enzo now having to deal with what Enzo did.

I suspect Enzo will outlast Enzo.

Well if the football is good and Enzo gets his pattern down Enzo may well feel, as some of us do, that Bell-Enzo, has done little in a Chelsea suit to warrant the hype and Enzo may well be comfortable to see Bell-Enzo out the door once the dust has settled and we can recoup most of what we paid. Would anybody really be surprised.

Between the awful home shirt and the Enzo fiasco, maybe it’s a sign that this season is going to be a terrible one. Not exactly started well

At this rate, managers signing for Chelsea just have to expect off-pitch drama, been happing every season for the last decade or so. If it isn't a manager getting fired or an owner being forced out then its a player doing an interview behind the club's back or a player singing racist chants.

Didn't watch it all yet, but I like that they're having fun and smiles on their faces, especially chilly. And I hope they are as accurate as that during games!

Like some of you again I feel so "invested" and can't wait till they get going in the season.

First though, alarm is set for 3am on the 25th!

I had convinced myself that next season was going to be underwhelming again, but these videos are sure bringing back some optimism. Of course it doesn't mean anything until we see the team play, but there's a different energy to these training videos. Also great to see Maresca being hands on and involved. I think most of last season's training videos showed Poch on the sideline with his arms crossed.

Agreed...I admit I only saw one of poch's vids but 100% mate. I see tactics instead of endless running. I see a lot more tech too. But I also see them having fun, interaction and maresca proper hands on.

I hated poch with arms crossed during a match let alone a training session.

I’m going to the Wrexham pre season next week so I’ll get to see him firsthand. Gonna be 32 C 🥵 as F. Same as it is at my gaff currently.
Should be a good little caper though.

Lucky bugger...well not in that horrible heat but still. Let us know how it goes mate. The interactions that aren't on camera.

*I did notice a few good clips of sanchez being accurate with his feet! When did he learn that! Now we just need him to learn to throw the ball to one of ours in a proper game then maybe he won't scare me soo much. Wishful thinking....I know.

Add master criminal to racist. Boy we need to just sell him. I wonder if sp*rs need a CM?

Im slowly thinking the guy is an absolute basket case and Benfica robbed us...

Lol, yep. The boy can't stay out of the news. Now a driving offence. 🤦‍♂️

We need to give Enzo snr a lot of slack. So much to deal with off and on the pitch before the season even starts.

Llanelli, wasnt there a poster from Llangenech? couple of miles from llanelli, wonder if he could go to the magistrates to get a few snaps of thick as mince fernandez.

Lol, they definitely robbed us. Arseholes are laughing at us, I feel it. Hahahaha

He's 23 right? I really can't call him a kid and even then most kids don't need all the "help" that Enzo needs. The guy needs a decent mentor/friend/guide asap.

*p.s. I don't think they actually attend these. A rep does (normally the solicitoror, or a clerk from the solicitors office usually), unless they've been held by the court that is.

Might help his image for a few tears of remorse on camera though, won't hurt.

Caps off a terrible week for him. There are many cases of Latin american players simply not settling here. I really hoped he would have both feet under the table by now. Lord only knows what the club will do, but Fernandez is going to have to fight for his place this season. Cant imagine Enzo snr is too happy his pre-season given the headlines. very distracting for everyone.

Pressing matters of fantasy football. 've mostly picked chelsea and ex chelsea players for my fantasy side. interestingly, Macus Betteneli managed to end last season on -1 point.

To the future.

I'm surprised the club don't have staff specially assigned to players to "guide" them. Dos and dont's, help them settle in, keep them out of trouble, etc...even when on international duty they are still employed by the club.

Agreed, they look good in the videos...there's friendships and bonds, smiles and jokes. Snr really didn't need the extra headache.

I have a confession....I've never played fantasy football, except once at school, a grp of kids did something similar and it failed miserably, 30 odd yrs ago.

I wouldn't know where to start mate, and I can't follow all the clubs let alone their players too. Chelsea is enough for me, and Zetas prediction thread.

Rumours are that we’ve offered out Petrovic for sale. I mean, it just feels like we’re signing players for the sake of it, purely for profiteering.

Petrovic has shown enough this season to be a very good PL keeper. We should be aiming to develop him, not selling him.

He hasn't, his underlying metrics were bottom 10 out of the keepers in all the major league.

The only mistake we made with Petrovic is signing him in the first place.

Do you rate sanchez higher than him?

To be a number 2 absolutely (don't think either are good enough as number 1). Sanchez is great arielly, reasonable shot stopper and despite the admittedly horrific mistakes in the midst of it (which I think would be reduced in a proper system) does make really good line breaking passes

Sanchez vs Petrovic is like Ivan vs Baba and Alonso vs Emerson rehashed into a goallie version, people got fed up of one option so tried to elevate the other (and in every case inferior) choice into something they simply ain't, I was even guilty of it myself for a couple of months this time round.

A good watch and I have no doubt the smiles were staged and I have nothing to compare against but still training is systematic. Holding hands in a group, even though ostensibly about catching a t shirt,  in my opinion, does do some bonding. Once long, long ago I went on a wild life protest mainly to accompany my then girlfriend now wife. We all held hands around the fire on the first morning and dis some kind of chant. It actually worked.

The shooting, no pressure of course, from Madueke was really very accurate. I watch Sydney FC pre match  warm up for many seasons and the shooting is nothing like that. Nothing like it at all.
