That's exactly how I see him fitting in. He will give Maresca another option of the bench.

As if I wasn’t angry enough about this deal, of course we’ll give them Golding as well. I’ll not hold it against Dewsbury-Hall and I hope he does well BUT we really do know how to needlessly spend money at Chelsea

With that price surely that means we either have a buy back or matching offer included?

He does look a lot like Danny as well.

If he's being signed as a favour to Maresca, then surely he's going to be in the starting XI ?

Leicester had to sell & realistically he was our only academy product that was worth anything so he was forced into moving rather than asking for a move.  We face a points deduction this coming season & are almost certainly going to struggle in a relegation battle. Compared with being close to the top of the league & playing in Europe not to mention a substantial pay increase I'm sure he views the move as a positive..  Maresca will use him but he wont see the game time he got at Leicester

So presumably, for this first year this is totally offset, in that KDH's amortised fee for year 1 of his six year deal will equal the 100% of the sale value of Golding. Not sure where we get the money to cover the other 5 years.

The guy is bang average. Somebody you would expect a mid table team would sign AT BEST.

A pointless waste of money similar to when we signed Drinkwater.

None of our signings are giving me confidence that we will challenge for top 4 next season.

Rumours Milan are in talks to sign Carney on loan with a buy obligation at the end of the season.

 

Which raises a question. Is Dewbs better than any of these guys we let go, or could be about to let go?

Out of all the useless young players we’ve bought Carney is the one I feel has a chance to make an impression on the first team.  Selling him will make me lose all hope.

You know as well as I do Milan will do no such thing. Doubt we’ll entertain anything less than 40m for Carney.

Unless we start doing FFP/PSR swaps with them as well.

I’d be surprised if they let Carney go. Very highly rated. Just can’t stay fit. 

Just don't see the point of throwing 30m at them when we have exactly that player in Gallagher (yes, yes I know, profits and all that), who's younger, has better stats, hair and everything else.

Getting more and more disillusioned with football within each passing year sadly.

Not sure we need squad player in midfield. If you move Gallagher, we have Lavia, Enzo, caicedo, ugo, carney, santos, Casadei 

What is good about KDH is he is already an experienced player, he is English and he is wanted by the coach. Other that that I know very little of him. 30m feels a bit steep of his background. But I was very wrong about Cole Palmer so what do I know.

Sorry but I thought we got Maresca to coach and have nothing to do with buying and choosing the players. Ffs he bought Harry winks that should of given alarm bells to the board
