I enjoyed watching that. Really refreshing to see two sides playing with pace and purpose. I’d begun to forget what that looked like. But let’s be honest. Neither of those two sides will achieve much with their reluctance to pass to their keepers at every given opportunity. Have they not heard how to be successful?

I was thinking that too. Our football looks old hat compared to that.

looking at these knockout stage results, putting a lot of effort into the league phase doesn't seem to guarantee anything... your strategy could just be to finish 24th or better

Topped the group only to draw PSG is nasty business. 😂

Who would have thought, PSG is a better team without Mbape in it. 😄 Overall, luck balanced out in 2 legs, PSG should have won the first leg, got the breaks they missed last week. At least Liverpool could only do the double this season at best, I will be going for Newcastle in the cup final.

Back to depression-ball. And to think, there’s kids out there who’s first experience of Chelsea and football itself, is Maresca’s blues. Truly harrowing.

I don't mind them now that the ego's have gone

same power hungry owner though. I don't think he was that nice about us as a club in the past.

As some of you may remember my childhood best friend is a big Liverpool fan. Naturally that built up a rivalry between us, long before our teams were both good and we started getting at each other, from Jose and Rafa onwards.

Normally I would be enjoying their exit, and their loss at Plymouth, however the apathy that seeing my club destroyed, turned from what we were to empty shell we are now, has bleed in to even taking enjoyment from this.

Honestly glad I have much more in my life than Chelsea and football, was not always the case.

I think PSG have shown over both legs that this Liverpool team is quite flattered by their position in the Premier League. Fair play though that Slot has been able to take advantage of the weaknesses of their PL rivals,

I think they are good but pretty much nobody is challenging them. Last season pool got 82 points and finished 3rd. This season 82 is probably enough to win thr league

If you took all the skills and physical abilities of all our wingers; Sancho, Neto, Madueke, Mudryk and combined them all in one winger, that player still wouldn't be as good as Luiz Diaz.

28 year old injury free Luis Diaz with the Liverpool super team absolutely flying towards a league title with his G/A every 143 minutes, meanwhile lowly youngster Madueke with an injury hit season getting a G/A every 146 minutes.

Luis Diaz just looks nice because he'll hit a rabona every now and then, give me Madueke any day right now.

No doubt their pursuers' failings have contributed to their gap at the top but they've been very good regardless. On the other hand, is there a PL team capable of coping with this PSG when firing?

Glad that egotistical w**ker missed that pen.

Vinícius is an exceptional player, I hope Mbappé hasn't infected him with f**kfaceitis. Patient Zero may or may not be redeeming himself in Brazil.
