Forfana isn’t very good when ran at

Both FBs have had iffy moments this half. When West Ham have been able to get Kudus 1 v1 against Cucurella, he has flown past him everytime.

Good first half away from home. West Ham literally buying fouls from the ref.

Kudus is their main threat, but we can easily score more goals in the second half.

Comfortable for most of that half despite the naysayers.

Acheampong not being on the bench is so annoying, Fofana is getting rinsed at RB.

Cause of no help from Noni. Most right backs will get rinised

Overall decent half.

though sancho, noni, palmer have been quite.

Maybe would bring on Neto for either sancho or  noni if it stays the same 10 mins after second half

Nearvy last 15-20 but can't complain being 2 up.

One thing I will say though, with the amount of corners and free kicks we've conceded so far thankf**k Ward Prowse still isn't there.

Caicedo is very good and I think in general we have defended well today. I feel Enzo has said we need to be compact.

If Jackson wasn't as clinical as he's been it'd probably be 0-0. This is why goals are so valuable. Great job Nico!

A good early start, but after around 25 minutes, we were poor. Colwill, Tosin, and Caicedo have been very good, but Fofana, Cucurella, Enzo and Sanchez are causing us problems. The defence are seeing far too much of the ball, it inevitably leads to mistakes and we have seen a ton of them in that first half. We need to get the ball over the half way line more. We have a really good attack in Madueke, Palmer and Sancho, let's use them a bit more.

100% sure giving the captaincy to him was a team order from the ownership to ensure that their biggest investment remains on the pitch at all times.

The way Lavia started this season and Caicedo is playing now, it’ll be really interesting to see who will be Marescas preferred starters once everyone’s fit. On merit, Enzo should be nowhere near the starting 11 for me

This is the first of our games this season I've been able to watch. I do think we look a bit more organised than under Pochettino but we've a few individuals out there who aren't giving what you'd want. Enzo particularly, mediocre.

Yeah... very strange... half ... 2up but only through Jackson... Sancho Noni and Palmer hardly in the game

Got to be better the start of 2nd half; the last 20 minutes we've lost control.  Palmer / Sancho not on it today Noni can't get in the game and Tosin is having a horrible time against Sommerville.   I'd to see Felix and Nkunku for Palmer on at the start of the 2nd half or maybe Mudryk or Neto for Sancho as he hasn't taken the full back on at all, just passing it inside or backwards.

World class half from Caicedo, Jackson been brilliant as well. Fofana predictably struggling, also a bit worrying Palmer isn’t involved at all

None of the attackers are involved really. Just bits and pieces here and there, and it's because we are holding the ball far too long in defence.

Cucu has been rinsed by Kudus a few times. Is that Madueke's fault too?

These are the reasons people don't really see Sanchez as our mainstay keeper for the future. We've had worlds best keepers at Chelsea and we know saving goals is the main skill of a keeper even though football has evolved.

I agree but he was excellent last week...
