The attackers are the only ones performing, and thank goodness we signed Palmer, this game would be over without him. Off the ball we have been awful, very similar to how we were under Pochettino. Cucurella, Gusto and Fofana have been panicking throughout, and Sanchez has been worse than all 3 of them. The midfield has been terrible too, Enzo and Caicedo are not helping at all. Reaction times are way too slow off the ball, everybody is getting overrun because they aren't ready to receive the pass or ready for the opposition press.

He’s made some great saves, just an absolute baffoon when he isn’t even forced.

Probably just as well then. He would have been the same bag as Mendy. Good keeper, but not quite top drawer.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe Cole Palmer right now. Dear god.

He was suspended for the cup game against Bolton. I was confused too, because I thought they changed that rule.

Crazy game. Entertaining and stressful all at the same time. 

Would like to see more control but the space behind Brighton is there every time they come forward. 

I don’t know what I’d change, but Sanchez, Caicedo, Fofana and Colwill make me nervous today. Also Cucu and Enzo walking a fine line for second yellow. 

Lavia and Tosin perhaps? Unlikely gusto lasts the 90.

I've never known a more injury prone goalie. Our biggest mistake was not going for Raya early last season and ending up with Sanchez for not much less.

Is Chilly available ? If so I’d get him in at the back, get Neto in for Noni

Not even on the bench. Taking the piss adding him to the squad, because it's clear we are only doing it to make up the numbers. We are still looking to sell him. Disrespectful to Chilwell, who I think would be a lot better than Cucurella today.

I'd cream my pants if Maresca actually subs Sanchez out at HT.
