He's just not good enough. Been saying all season that he wouldn't be rated at all if he wasn't born in a country that produced some of the best players. Can't believe some were even trying to compare him to Fabregas, it's a laughable comparison.

They'll probably have to accept a loss. 

The worst thing that could happen is that the board pressure Maresca to play him. Maybe they can work some boardroom magic and offload him in January. I don't want to see him in the team whatever happens.

It also confirms that, despite purchasing multiple goalkeepers, we are still no nearer to having one that is good enough.

I think he decided long ago we will play this second string side in CC and he didn't budge. These lads need the minutes too. Newcastle really took this game to heart and deserved to win.

We won't get what we paid for him. If we are lucky maybe we get something nearer to the amortized value by the end of this season (about 75m I think). Even that looks unrealistic currently.
