January 23, 20251 yr I really don't understand this move for Garnacho. Giving 50 million quid to United to help them rebuild is only one of the issues. We have wingers at the club - attacking mids and we are good in this area - Maduke, Neto, Sancho, Palmer - Felix and Nkunku? - we have some yoof product here - George - and in the summer two kids arriving from South America. We also have the accidental drug addict - though not sure what is happening with him. Kellyman? if fit - we paid 20 million quid for him - although who knows what he is like. Chukwuemeka likewise - a great talented attacking mid. Napoli have had a £50million plus add-ons bid for Garnacho rejected and are now reportedly in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a deal for Karim Adeyemi, potentially worth up to €50m (£42m). I am not the biggest fan of Adeyemi - he is incredibly fast - but he would be a better option for us imho than Garnacho. IF Garnacho was any good there is no way United would sell him. 50 million quid - who are we in a bidding war with? Wait until the summer and if we still have a vacancy then we can look at all the possibilities - there are a lot of wingers and attacking mids that come on the market. So many lads full of potential and promise. We could look at Omari Hutchinson at Ipswich etc. What we need the most is an experienced world class Centre Back and a Goalkeeper.
January 23, 20251 yr Surely not another winger . We need a forward a goal keeper. Plus he’s a diving moaning twat so definitely a no from me
January 23, 20251 yr I've already come to terms we are signing this Richard Ramirez Cristiano Ronaldo wannabe. A waste of space coming in to to replace another waste of space. Brilliant use of funds.
January 23, 20251 yr looks like this is happening. Meh, can't be worse than Neto currently. our approach to squad building is bizarre, don't get it.
January 23, 20251 yr Recently the directors seem to have gotten more right than wrong, with transfer targets such as Duran, Samu, Barcola, etc. I’m not a fan of Garnacho at all but I will give him time if he joins the club and maybe the directors see something in him that pretty much everybody doesn’t. One thing that’s for certain though, he’ll be much better than Mudryk.

We got lucky with Palmer, but unfortunately the owners still seem to be more up for transfer opportunities that present themselves (Garnacho, Felix etc..) rather than subtly tweaking the squad with targeted improvements like getting a proven striker and top goalkeeper that would instantly make us better. January 23, 20251 yr Garnacho is a good player for his age but not that much better than what we already have. Factor in the transfer fee and it makes this a very strange signing.
January 23, 20251 yr I still think it is possible this is a PSR help to United, and perhaps one that sees them also but from us, maybe Carney, Chilwell or Nkunku.
January 23, 20251 yr So £55 million for this gremlin another £25 million for Sancho, a combined £80 million for Utd to buy Gyokeres in the summer. Excellent business.

We do live in a time where the conspiracy theories are usually true. Probably is just the suits of both ownerships agreeing a mutual humiliation ritual. We screwed you over with Mount, so we get to ‘get you back’ and now we’re even. Probably have a good laugh about all this at the golf. The state-owned clubs seem to be the only ones who get away with not being in the PSR charity circle.
January 23, 20251 yr We sign one of their flops on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, and now we are trying to sign their other player that plays in the same position who also struggles. These two players played for a United team that struggled to create chances or score goals, yet we think they are good enough for us? These signings will do nothing but drag us down.
January 23, 20251 yr Why aren't our directors and owners asking these questions? and if they are, why are we still interested?
January 23, 20251 yr sh*t. Napoli out the picture now, their owner de Laurentiis basically dissed him, saying “who is going to score me 20 goals per season?”. Garnacho has 3 goals in 21 games. We’re literally in a one horse race to spend £60m on a player who doesn’t tick a single box for us! You cannot make this up. This is the worst deal in the history of the club.

January 23, 20251 yr Rather sign old man Willam until the end of season . We have estevao next year where are they all going to play

January 23, 20251 yr Why have one underwhelming Argentinian when you can have two ! Apparently we've also agreed to pay €4m for a 16 year old Kazakh kid today. Happy days !

January 23, 20251 yr He fills the gap in the squad vacated by Mudryk I suppose: - Bleach blond - Fast - Periodically scores really good goals - Not very good most of the time This, er... does not reflect well on him. Can we maybe avoid making the same mistake repeatedly?
