Who saw that coming? Saw what coming?

1. An utterly disjointed team of 11 individuals.

2. Neto, Madueke and Palmer very rare glimpses but largely nullified.

3. Jackson pretending to be a centre forward

4. Enzo pretending to be a footballer (probably the worst 45 minutes I've even seen from him and there is a bucketload of other examples)

5. A back for giving up space all over the pitch

6. Gifting an easy goal.

Oh, I see, we all saw that coming.

Heart and soul of the club is completely gone.

We desperately need a "Dave" or a JT in the squad. We don't have even close to it.

I'd take JT in the dugout at this point

This must be one of the weakest managers in the league, his system does not work, there is no proof that it works, even at Leicester with the leagues biggest budget and best team, teams found him out.

What is it we are trying to do going forward? I don't understand the benefit of inverted fullbacks. We are both defensively solid, and we aren't more in control.

Is the plan to get Madueke or Neto 1v1? Isn't peps system all about vreating overloads, in wide areas? We do the opposite.

At what point does a manager who has won nothing, start to question his own system, because this is atrocious football.

I just want the season over with now so I don't think about the club for a while, but with the sh*tty Club World Cup and no time for rest before pre-season, that won't be happening.

There just isn't a single thing to be optimistic about with the club anymore.

Not yet, my actual opinion is just as depressing as everyone else's (with an added twist of 'I specifically warned you at the start of the season that this would happen if you hired Maresca'), so I thought I'd try and counteract the malaise by saying ridiculous things.

Fair play.

I find the off-season worse because we spend the whole summer getting linked to random players no one has heard of

You're forgetting about the cool new Total 90 third kit we're getting next year! That'll make everything better, we can lose in style!

We can moan about individual players etc , but everything goes right back. to the day of the takeover and then every ruinous decision that within less than 1 season destroyed our great football club.

I know I'll be in the minority but we have a team that should be easily top 4, but by this point given what we've spent we should be title challengers and for me, the biggest failure of this ownership has been the managerial appointments. How they though Maresca was a good appointment is actually a disgrace and shows that these sporting directors aren't up to the job.

I don't think Marco Silva is necessarily an elite manager but we'd be in the champions league with this group of players and his style of football. But we would with half a dozen other manager that aren't as generational as think fking muppet.

I don't get why anyone thinks this is an easily top 4 team. I'd say two of our players would start in the Liverpool and City team. Maybe three in the Villa and Newcastle team. The rest would either be on the bench or not even in the squad. That's not a top 4 squad.

You're right, we just mark space. It's half arsed pressing. We used to call it jockeying. Its players cheating rather than working hard on real pressing

Our pressing is bad but this is not new, we have been bad the whole season. The biggest problem in this game is player performance and nor just one player, pretty much everyone is of. We need to turn up the intensity

That Club World Cup is essentially just a humiliation ritual at this point. Damn shame that’s come around when it has. Money aside (won’t get much being knocked out early anyway), we’re just marketing ourselves as a club you wouldn’t want to watch.

A busy pre-season also doesn’t help in ‘pushing the reset button’ either, no time to even decompress this sh*t.
