June 2, 20251 yr I would happily wait 5 years if we had young players with great potential but we don't have nearly enough for the money spent. In 5 years, the actual good talent will be at psg and Barcelona.
June 2, 20251 yr Author Apparently Mbeumo is available for around £50m. One year left on his contract. Much more experienced, Premier League proven, and scores goals. We have a youngster in Estevao come here in the summer why not bring in a proven player rather than another project player? Why do we always seem to ignore obvious upgrades?

June 3, 20251 yr I have to say it’s really concerning that the Dortmund fans are really happy to see him go.
June 3, 20251 yr Paez, Estevao and Quenda (next year) all incoming. Neto, Madueke, George on the books. Sancho and Mudryk futures tbd. That’s a lot of options. Just don’t know enough about Glittens and why he is different.
June 3, 20251 yr The squad building looks set to continue along the same shambolic lines, which should surprise no-one seeing as the same idiots are still directing all this ...
June 3, 20251 yr Dortmund fans saying he’s very good in 1v1s (explains why Maresca wants him) but inconsistent decision making. Asked to leave earlier in the year and that’s why he wasn’t given game time. Joe Shields instincts hopefully comes through and at least it isn’t Garnacho.

June 3, 20251 yr He seems able to play with both his feet, which is 2 more than all our current wingers. I'll take that.

Lamine Yanal was ready. But yeah, you are correct, we are Team Project Player, with a projetc manager and project ownership. 9 minutes ago, Jangz said:Gordon or Bowen?Just no.
June 3, 20251 yr I think is for sure, we need more goals from our wingers. They are just not scoring enough. Mydryk, Neto, Noni and Sancho didn’t do it last season. Looking at Gittens record, I’m not convinced this signing will be enough. Feels like he would produce similar numbers based on his stats.
June 3, 20251 yr Dortmund are happy to let him go and their fans are indifferent about it, so BlueCo really should be lowballing their offer, not going with "more than £30m with a little bonus"

I'd bet that both wingers could chip in double figures for goals.I know I am in a minority of one on here on the LW suggestion btw - LOL
