Estevao RW Palmer #10 Sterling LW. I'd bet that both wingers could chip in double figures for goals.

I know I am in a minority of one on here on the LW suggestion btw - LOL

Please, just let it go. Get off the hill, it just undermines all of your other good posts.

Lest we ever forget

Our wingers should score more - but then it is down to our manager getting them to play the ball forward more. As Cole Palmer has stated - backwards and sideways is not going to create more chances.

Jamie Gittens for 30 million quid? sure why not. Bring him home - he has played for us before (briefly when he was like 8 or something). So yes, lets be kind and let him be the new generational talent at the club.

Looking at the alternatives on the left (and even right, as I don't know how Estevao kid is going to result), with Neto, Noni and Mudryk (ffs, I can't believe some are looking forward to his return...), I'll be joining your "Sterling support group".

I`d rther play with 10 men than have Sterling play a single minute next season. Hes a sh*tehouse.

In days gone by this was just seen as a expression but we literally played better with 10 men than with Jackson against Newcastle so maybe an idea for the future perhaps…

Anyone know the lad or what he can do?

I had a peek on the Dortmund forums, hes a pretty raw player but very good at dribbling and scoring. His decision making leaves a lot to be desired though.

As long as we get him for less than 40m it’s a pretty good deal imo, basically Mudryk’s replacement.

Can’t say I know much about him, but assume time spent with Man City youth team aligns with so many we are signing.

What is encouraging is his improvement in goals - 48 appearances and 12 goals last year. Not bad for a 20 year old, although always tough to transition that to the premier league.

Fits the profile we love to sign. Wonder if we’d have done this had we signed Sancho.

Playing the Bundesliga in a more attacking team/league could definitely skew the stats either way.

No players is a like so in the end is all down to Gittens to put the working in and improve rather than playing call of duty till 4 am

I suspect he'll be on one fifth Sancho's wages, possibly even less

Why couldn't he get in the first team towards the end of the season?

He is a touch line winger, but very average when he has to come inside. The new manager preferred players with the latter profile.

My biggest concern is he is another gamble that could go any way, when what we need is a dead cert. Upper season you are now adding a very raw Quenda as competition for him on the LW. Just feels very off.

That's probably the biggest reason Sancho's out and Gittens is in.

I don't watch Bundesliga but looking at their stats Sancho at the same age was an absolute beast and put up great numbers, while Gittens' stats look very modest. Looks like just another player Joe Shields knows from Man City academy and we could get on small wages.

Mind you, I'm not saying we should have kept Sancho, it's just another example of how current management operates.
