I don't think Nkunku can explode anymore. That injury damaged his mobility. That chance Silva cleared off the line is a chance peak Nkunku would have hit early, but he just couldn't turn and get the ball under control quick enough.

Nkunku i dislike because there are still people who think he's class. I've never seen it.

One thing I really like about the signings of Delap, Pedro and Gittens is they are all known for their counterpressing and defensive work rate

Nkunku does have his qualities but he's clearly not good enough to be a passenger defensively (the only player I think deserves a partial pass in that regard is Cole Palmer)

Everything Jackson does looks pretty awkward. Just doesn't look like he's anywhere near this level of football.

Thiago Silva is still a stunning football player. Up there with the all-time greats of the game. What a feckin privilege that we all got to see him play for our club.

People moan at us for complaining about changes, but it's the silly unnecessary changes I dislike. Nobody is calling it anything but man of the match. I will never say player of the match and epecially not superior player of the match. Adding superior is the most American thing I have seen, they always have to add some fancy word to it.

I wish we could hear the crowd. It looks quite full, does anyone know the attendance?
