Few obvious things for me

  1. James at right back instead of Gusto

  2. Drop Enzo, start Santos

  3. Start Garnacho, I didn't want us to sign him but now we have who better to start him against than the team he wants to stick it to

  4. Sneak Maresca out in the laundry bin.

This is the glaringly obvious one. But does Maresca have the balls to do it?

We are the best club when it comes to giving a struggling manager a helping hand, I'm convinced that Arteta would have been sacked years ago if we'd beaten Arsenal instead of getting stuffed 3-0.

Anyway, team should be below:

Sanchez

James Tosin Fofana Cucurella

Enzo Caicedo

Estevao Palmer Garnacho

Joao Pedro

This’ll be a resounding 3-0 for Utd.

Maguire will get them going from a corner.

We’ll then play them straight through by passing it around at the back which Mbuemo will latch onto.

Cucurella will then be out of position pushing for a goal and we’ll conceded a 3rd, probably Mbuemo again.

To try and get back into the game we’ll make some like for like substitutions around the 65/70 minute mark. They’ll have no effect.

Gusto at RB, James in midfield alongside Enzo. Gittens starts. George up front. Santos subbed on in the 85th minute. Estevao brought on the 88th minute.

Stay tuned for the next thrilling installment of the "Maresca Way"

Sadly, these had a high probability of being accurate.

Come on Chelsea, PLEASE turn up and beat united on Saturday. Don't ruin another weekend.

Just get this match done and over with.

12 years and counting since we last beat United at Old Trafford. Since then, I graduated from college, got my masters, had two kids and one of them started middle school this year.

We’ve faced some seriously sh*t United sides during that period and much better Chelsea sides than this current one have failed to beat them. In no reality am I expecting this soft as sh*t Chelsea squad and manager to do anything different.

Just collect the 0-1 point(s) and move on to the next game of this already tedious season.

United have been pants mostly since Ferguson left

When he was there in the middle of all that success CFC were the team that got the most results against United

Paradoxically since their well documented decline culminating with this dip stick Amorim suicidally playing a 3 at the back we cant buy a result against them (literally)

So although on paper we should batter them, I fear its not happening and more points may be dropped. Maresca will have his 'they rested and we played mid week' excuses ready no doubt.

Well, after Palace, Brentford and Bayern I don't whether I'm looking forward to it or not?

All these wonderful players we have at our disposal...

Will they be on the bench, trialed on the left, trialed on the right, swapped to a "new position", inverted or simply f**king rested for the big game coming up on Tuesday against Lincoln?

Or will we get to see half our best side and half our average undroppables... making us look half average again?

As @The Rising Sun and Fergie reminded us above, all the money in the world... there's still a team to be built, a balance to be created and spirit to be generated.

We need to outscore them and play quicker than them. Its as simple as that.

Our defence is leaky, so any slow tempo football we will just get hammered by their front 3 and offer no threat at the other end.

God luck with that, its the opposite of how Maresca has us playing, so wont happen.

Here's what's going to happen. Man Utd will either win or score a late late goal to level the scores, Bruno will score it and knee slide towards the Stretford End giving it all that bo**ocks and the fans will lap it all up. The following week they will get rolled over by Brentford. I'm almost 100% sure this will happen.

  1. When Fergie generously praised Chelsea and Jose. A "formidable achievement" he called it

You know I was just thinking about how matches with united brought such anticipation and excitement, counting down the days to face them.

It is actually quite sad what this fixture has become, also where both them as a club and we as a club are now compared to at the height of that rivalry.

Not feeling confident about this at all. We can all sense it.

We will play rubbish, United will nick one and win it.

Prepared to be proved wrong Mr Maresca!

I'm the opposite. Even Maresca cannot cock this one up. Yes, they have more firepower up front than last season but boy, they are a team without any direction and zero self-belief. An absolute mess.

This should be be a win for us tomorrow. With united’s form last season and their start so far, no excuses should not be a problem.

A defeat tomorrow would be difficult for Meresca to explain away
