Palmer will be out for 3-6 weeks UNLESS he has an operation and who knows when he will come back, someone has to step up starting in this game, it doesn’t look good for us, i said Maresca would be gone by Christmas, lose this, fail to beat Benfica and the pressure will be going through the roof

He isn’t going anywhere though; at minimum he will be here till the end of the season. If I was a betting man I would say we are stuck with him till 2027 Jan.

Good Lord; that line up will struggle even against promoted sides. Enzo & Neto have both been awful all season long.

The ref blows for full time, 90 minutes of watching us play shove penny shove, apart from Enzo Fernadez who spent the game running around in the loose vicinity of the penny without actually shoving it.

Zero expectations from this game. We are coming off the back of a huff and puff victory against Lincoln while Brighton just demolished Barnsley or whatever. Our players just don't look motivated enough... I don't know what it is.

Lose points in this match and I'd suggest we take that World Champions badge off from the kit... at least until we actually start looking like World Champs.

Going to stick a stack on Brighton scoring first...

Then probably go two nil up -

before we rescue a point with a breath taking final 35 minutes.

Unless there's some sort of financial agreement between the board that we win this game if we buy another 3 players next summer off them for 80 million GBP.

So Fofana did get a concussion from Jorgensen on Tuesday then? I thought the protocol was very clear about players needing to come off when that happens?

Not looking good squad wise for the Brighton game with our injuries mounting up.

Brighton will be well up for this game as well seeing that we are always buying their players.

This week can only get worse if Danny Welbeck bags a hat-trick and we end up buying him in January.
