Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea (PL) Saturday 1st November 17:30 GMT

Watched them numerous times this season and they are nothing special. And their midfield is bang average no matter what combination Frank uses there. Simons also not up to the pace of the PL and apart from Kudus there is no other creator in the attacking areas. We will beat them if Maresca gets his tactics right.

Still the mix at the back for us is decisive in this one. A Fofana - Acheampong pairing is ideal for me. Protected by Caicedo and Lavia. If one of Chalobah or Tosin will be on the pitch, we will be in a lot of trouble.

Fofana is currently our worst CB and it isn't close.

And there lies the issue.

I never understand how his coaches at some point dont grab him and just say "Ey up Baldy, how about we stop f**king around with positions and inverted bo**ocks this, over control that.....just p[ick the formation and style that best suits the squad, then put he best players in their best positions....maybe try that eh"

Probably loses impact when coming from someone like Caballero LOL

Lose this and Maresca should be sacked on the spot.

I suspect that he doesn't even get the gravity and importance of this fixture. He'll go looking for a bore draw and get his arse handed to him.

Well said. I don’t understand why people have him in their lineup; he is one of those that gets better the longer he doesn’t play. Considering he hasn’t played a minute v Sunderland & Wolves, it will be crazy to start him v Spurs.

I just watched the highlights of our last 2 away games against them I still had to laugh at Ange's ridiculous highline against us , and Spurs fans were defending his tactics !!

And then Spurs fans out of their minds with joy at 2-0 up in the 2nd game ! Spurs fans TV was beautiful to watch after the game . Jumping around like a lunatic at 2-0 and slumped in his seat by the end with his chin on his chest ! !! And they're a bit sh*t at home this season so far aren't they ?

Please please, don't f**k about with a million pointless passes tomorrow, we need to get at em from the start, .

Come on you BLUES!!

The idea of Fofana is much more appealing than the reality.

He won't ever stay fit long enough for us to know how good he actually could be. I also think he's very thick, which hinders the talent he has.

Todd made him fly to America for the medical with his own medical team .

They gave him the ok thinking he was a baseball pitcher. 😂

Could be an interesting game, spurs very up and down like us. However I feel Frank is more street wise than Maresca and we’ll probably end up losing through a long throw, set piece etc that Maresca refuses to do.

We can play quite well at times in big games but I fear we’ll lose.

My enthusiasm for this seasons league ended with the Sunderland match and arsenals inevitable crowning.

And, judging by the performances this season and results against palace, Brentford, United Brighton and Sunderland, the team got there before me.
