Chelsea vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (PL) Saturday 8th November 20:00 GMT

Great second half and a job well done. Congrats to Gusto who scored his first career goal with us.

Been a good weekend so far with Spurs, United and Arsenal all dropping points. Hopefully City and Liverpool draw to each other tomorrow.

Really rooting for Guiu but will he ever get a PL goal?!

No. Great heart, great spirit, scampers all the way along the back line all game, but no awareness to be in the right place. Have we ever actually seen him have a decent, full blooded shot at goal yet?

I thought this the other day when he took a shot against someone, can't remember who we were against, but I swear every shot he's ever taken for us has been scuffed, even the ones that have gone in.

Only watched the 2nd half but I was surprised to see us on the counter at speed... Garnacho and Neto (who was getting kicked all over the park) combining well for the 3rd goal - shame it's International Break time again.

My two cents.

It was probably the worst played match this year...also thanks to Wolv.

The importance of a victory at this time of the season was perceived.

The fact that we won it 3-0 shows, in my humble opinion, that we have a strong team this year.

P.S. The ghosts of the past are gradually abandoning Garnacho. He will return to being a top player and one of our best purchases.

Said it in the league cup match (that we almost bottled) that Wolves are probably the worst team we’ll face this season.

3 points wasn’t even the bare minimum. We won but not in a way we learned anything new.

In fairness, i think we did learn that Fofana can actually play. Its not all smoke and mirrors and physio tables. I was pleasantly surprised.

And yet our clubs dominate in Europe.

That's true especially when you consider that two of last seasons very poor PL teams ( Utd and Spurs) contested the Europa final last season. . Dunno if we can say Chelsea are dominant in Europe though !!

What a good decision you made there. First 45 minutes was up there as one of the dullest I can recall. Maresca-Ball at its finest.

We had to improve and thankfully we did. Have to say, Enzo's best game for a long time and the introduction of Estevao was the lift that everyone needed and he helped to cement the win.

But not a game that will last long in the memory.

And, amazingly, hes getting praise for making changes in the 2nd half, again. How do people not see that we shouldnt have to make changes in every single 2nd half to win games, get it right 1st time as every other good manager should do.

Putting Estevao on was a no brainer, he changes the entire atmosphere at the ground and lifts the other players, hes 18 and can do this, its incredible.

3 points at home to a winless team with no manager. Thats about it.

After having to change things dramatically at half time...again....as his initial setup failed....again.....yet some think he deserved praise for it. It blows my mind how many are happy with less than mediocrity now.

Thanks for editing and taking my post out of context.

What context would that be?

"Anything can happen but it's great to have two top players in that position."

I disagree that Neto is anywhere close to a top player, i don't think i've missed any context unless you can advise otherwise.

My post was about Estavao.

And within that post you mentioned Neto being good (twice). I don't really understand what you're saying.

You're trying to call me out on Neto when my post was obviously about Estavao. I was responding to Scott's point about Maresca probably having to start Estavao soon.

Many fans think Estavao needs a little protection and I basically think Neto is good enough to do that. I know he's not flavour of the week but he's not had a bad premier league at the moment with 3 goals and two assists in 11 games.

There. I took the bait, but don't think I'm getting into it about Neto. You don't appear to have much time for him and that's fine.
