April 21Apr 21 Author Geting ready for the Kinetic squad to take over for the rest of the season. You have to credit BlueCo for this one. To find a manager that is equally as bad as them and the idiot directors is astounding

Of course he could and should have said no but was it really that easy ? I wonder how much pressure the clown owners put on him ?I’m not sure he had much of a choice completely agree. He’s clearly not up to it, the players are not buying in.What I’d like to say is he’s just a bloke trying his best, it’s not good enough but that’s not his fault it’s the decision to appoint him and those before him that need questioning.I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man look as shook as him, it’s not a good thing.

April 21Apr 21 He’s thrown the players under the bus. I reckon he’ll be gone tomorrow. There’s no way back for him now. The players have chucked it.
April 21Apr 21 Once you call out the players in a post match interview then you know the end is nigh.

April 21Apr 21 I know people will criticise the players but they know a dud when they see one. It’s the same when we went from Tuchel to Potter. Someone on TalkSPORT said they had spoken to some players in the dressing room and said Potter was a massive downgrade.Cut your losses WinStewart. Your boy hasn’t got it. Edited April 21Apr 21 by JM7
April 21Apr 21 Just now, acaeus said:And rightly or not, this is usually when it ends. This is true, especially these days. Once they call out the players, it's usually game over. I would have had more respect for Rosenior if he was like this from day 1, but he decided to play BlueCo's game, so just like the players, he can do one.
April 21Apr 21 Played 5 and Lost 5Scored none and conceded ELEVEN First time we've lost 5 games without scoring a goal since 1912!I always thought AVB or Potter were our worst managers. We have new King!Liam Rosenior - worst (Chelsea) manager in living memory.with the worst sporting directors ever and the worst board and the worst ownership. Edited April 21Apr 21 by TheCeleryKing

Not sure that will help, but he didn’t butter it up.He looks broken, it was a tough watchDid you notice he couldn't do eye contact with the interviewer or camera? That says more than his words. I never wanted him or his middle management bo**ocks, now I'm beginning to feel sorry for him a tad. He is being hung out to dry by those above him who have appointed him and don't have to come out and tell us the rationale of their decision to hire someone who was never going to be able.
April 21Apr 21 It's the first time that I've been convinced that he's going rather than hoping he's going. There's no coming back from that performance and interview.
April 21Apr 21 The records are tumbling 5 defeats in the league without scoring !Can we make it 9 and go winless and goalless till the end of the season? Blue Co. are geniuses ! And all for a modest 3 billion spend. LR couldnt have done it on his own we should pay tribute to the SDs and the medical staff. Go Blue Co Go !

The last manager to have that sort of role was Arsene Wenger and he tragically developed an allergy to success after Wayne Bridge's goal at Highbury in 2004.The issue is more that our SDs aren't very good. They had no credentials to speak of when they were hired. We then sacked the one (Christopher Vivell) who had some credentials.I don't agree that it's a credentials issue. All 3 including Vivell have had similar credentials working at clubs with similar appetite (Brighton, Monaco, Leipzig, etc.). That's probably what got them hired. The issue is their performance which is now clear for everyone to see and they should not be having anywhere near the kind of pull and power they have right now. The only way is to get a competent SD who can work with a proper manager who knows and dictates what he exactly wants to get success on the field.
April 21Apr 21 I actually expect he'll be out, tomorrow. Good riddance. I'm sure he's a good man, but he is a joke of a gaffer.

Actually Vivell is on paper less qualified than even Laurence Stewart, having never officially held a senior role, but did have the edge in experience and reputation thanks to Ralf Rangnick.Pairing inexperienced SDs with inexperienced managers was always a doomed experiment. It is classic Challenger disaster behaviour, the literal textbook example of how the combination of groupthink and organisational ignorance leads to failure.
April 21Apr 21 Rumors he was shaking hands with all the back room staff. McFarland rest of the season 💀
April 21Apr 21 He simply has to go. The season is in total free fall now.4 years into this ownership and this is what BlueCo have created. It’s been a dismal failure.

April 22Apr 22 Do people still think Maresca was doing a bad job in hindsight?Had he stayed we'd likely have finished top 4, 5th at worst. Now we'll be lucky to get Conference League.
